Just wondering, If I already have sufficient (I guess) medical/hospitalization cover from my existing insurance plans (that also cover overseas), does it really make sense to buy a separate travel insurance? Cos I see all the T&C, the biggest covered things are medical/hospitalization (which I already have coverage). And refund of tickets/hotel booking if trip is cancelled, but this is only when the trip is cancelled due to like death, natural disaster, etc etc. Bags coverage even if lose luggage also don't get that much money re-imbursed

QUOTE(areankim @ Jan 24 2016, 08:59 AM) Any travel insurance that cover excess in car hire? Which country? If Australia, there are specific insurances that reduce the ridiculous aud5000 or whatever default excess amount. Or you can go for smaller rental companies with no excess like http://www.apexrentacar.com.au/

labtec check with your insurer to be sure, but I believe it should be fine to black out the individual transactions so that they can't see your rm20k salary.
