If you baggage delay when you have arrive back in Malaysia, can you claim from insurance?

I didn’t bought insurance cause it was my company’s trip and the company provide travel insurance. But i just found out the insurance did not cover baggage delay if you have arrive Malaysia.

If you extend your trip for a few days due to flight changes (as a result of natural disaster), are you able to make a claim for the new flight fares?

Let's say for example - Original trip is from 1 October to 7 Oct

Due to flight postponement (arranged by the airline), you have to depart on 3 October instead.

No changes to the 7 Oct return flight to Malaysia.

Therefore, you decide to postpone your return flight (at your own expense) to 10 October.

Can I make a claim for reimbursement for the old return flight which was originally on 7 October?
