Its comparable to the Comet/Clesse regulator. The locking 'hook' is about as big as the Comet, both of which are much better than the normal ones. The gas knob is a separate from the hook so the gas can be disconnected without needing to remove the regulator (same as the comet). The IGT regulator is manufactured locally (also called IGT-Milux) so I don't think its imported and there is a cheaper version without the safety valve - it looks the same as the one in the links above, doesn't have EFV in the model name.

A cheaper alternative is the Fuji 182DPDL which looks like the normal regulators but its got 2 locking hooks, 1 on each side which makes it very secure and the knob is a 2 stage one which allows the gas to be shut off without unhooking the regulator from the gas tank. Price RM15-30. The RM15 is on preorder on shoppe.

Had a problem with the gas the other day and went out to buy a replacement, and found the Comet model in AceHW. It locks on alot more solidly compared to the usual ones and has a safety valve to cut off the gas if there is a leak. The Fuji DPDL also looks good but doesn't have EFV.
