Some of the watches dropped from support include the ASUS ZenWatch 2 and 3, the original Fossil Q Founder, the LG G Watch R/Urbane/Urbane LTE, the second-gen Moto 360 and 360 Sport, and the original Huawei Watch. Those watches will continue to get Android Wear updates (like the recent v2.6 update) through the Play Store, but the underlying Android version will be stuck on Nougat.

Mine is problematic even since updated to Tizen 3.0. Always overheated when charging halfway & have to turn off, recently just sent to SC to repair due to blank screen. Before Tizen 3.0, my Gear S3 is running in great condition.

This is why I asked even latest so called battery fix patches for Tizen 3.0 also got such issue?

Just got called from SC stated my gear S3 motherboard is damaged due to water flow in & I need to pay RM600 for the motherboard. No warranty. LOL.

Yeah from your statement above, I guess it's the gear issue since other Samsung devices are fine.

Speaking of gear s3, any of u using s pay with it? Is using s pay on gear also eligible for reward point like the s pay on phone?

I believe very few people will hold on smartwatch over 2 years    I changed brand/model every year, last year changed twice.
For me, Android Wear are like fashion accessories now, buy for the looks.
