Nope, it can have option to display picture offline.
Just that it's picture changing period is one hour.
Already tried myself, it works, but it also changing the phone's wallpaper as well.

indeed great battery life.it lasted for me for 25 days, with moderate to heavy usage. for rm130, this is a bargain. other trackers are just too expensive.     

my normal alarm set the band to vibrate every 10 mins if i didnt turn it off. need to connect when you want to set alarm. then can disconnect. and the band will vibrate at the time you set, with snooze every 10 mins

PS: Funny enough, already feel bad on it.

Out of all smartwatch out there, Pebble Time has the most uninspiring look, much thicker bezel and very small screen, low quality rubber strap, and dimmest and unattractive screen out there.
Maybe now is at night, so all it's screen weakness is shown.
It's true strength of it's screen is it can be viewed at direct sunlight, like the screen of Gameboy Color.
Going to change it's rubber strap to milanese strap soon as it is the same size as Zenwatch 2.
It's battery life should be it's another strength.
However, using button to operate it seems awkward too, it's 4 big plastic button is not that tactile/clicky either.
All in all, it feel like a retro watch toy rather than a proper smartwatch.
Highest recommendation still go to Zenwatch 2, or the 1st gen LG Urbane, which has been lowered the price. 1st gen Moto 360 also is worth to buy.

my zenwatch 2 last me 1 and a half day max. but I dont like the feeling of charging my watch everyday and worry about  the battery life. thus i sold it off

Personally I dont get the point of complaining charging daily, we did that with our smartphone ( mostly more than once per day ).
My Huawei watch can easily last 2 days although I charge daily ( still 60% left at night ).

Pebble Time don't have adapter included, just magnetic charging cable.
It's magnetic pin is one of the most loose where it can not fit tightly or strongly to the watch, slight moving the cable or watch will disconnect the charging.

Then, just now also read about online people review mentioning it's screen failure (snowy),  bluetooth failure (cannot connect) and charging failure (cannot charge anymore), their waiting period to get repaired is long until more than half year cannot get the watch, or every replacement unit get faulty around 2 months time.

Hope that my unit can last.

Sadly, Pebble is not officially sold in Malaysia.
Maybe the nearest support is send to Singapore.
User did complain their bad service. You may get a new one as replacement, but have to wait for very long time.

after update, battery drain very fast.. send in for repair. after out, screen problem, found that service centre didnt properly fixed back, water went in and spoilt, chg board. then came out, 1wks plus, problem again and went in SC.

More quick report on my experience with Hybrid smartwatch the Lenovo 9 Smartwatch.

Well for all intent and purposes it does what it supposed to do after about 2 months and 3 different countries. I do not have to worry about charging (as opposed to my old m7 who need charging every three days). Changing time zones is done with my phone and its easy.

My only gripe is that after sometime the watch decide to not work? Although simple reconnection with the phone will see the watch working again.

Apps for the watch 2 months ago was really bad. However, unlike the cheapo m7, I seen 2 updates for the apps which I am happy to report good improvement, and for the past 7 days, with latest app the watch seem to be reliable.

However, as this is a cheap hybrid watch, the function is limited. And all functionality can only be accessed through the app. Now, I am looking for upgrades, but not with phones which has limited battery life, so may be another hybrid.

What next? May be I can move up to Lenovo Smartwatch X (which has notification screen + more  sensors) or to Martian Watches (are they still in business?). Ticwatch is another option.

Me in the look for my first ever SmartWatch.
my criteria below (hope its realistic).
- Round
- budget below USD100 (RM400).
- good quality color screen (min 240 x 240)
- long life battery,  says recharging once every 7 days. i dun mind to take 5 days.
- simple functions such as call, msg notification, & other standard feature. DO NOT need sim card function, as lately an abundant on most. But I dun mind if it is there IF above criteria was met.

Achievable requirement huh?
