You may need to pay penalty to jump ship. But if the service is too bad i think it is better to switch now before its to late. Sometimes we are in need to make an emergency call and wonder it you cant make any, you will be sorry to yourself. Try to check the penalty amount. It wont cost you more than the rebate they provide. End up you just pay the full amount on your device. You can also get rebate in taking contracted postpaid with some discounts. Just my 2¢

Change phone is the only solution. Or get an iPhone or blackberry as main phone. Those are known for great call quality and reception.

U can't seem to get the point.

note 4 is known for bad reception, no matter telcos.
Somebody had mentioned samseng acknowledged this, and verified by engineers.
But for digi, it's more irritating bcos it's the weakest network.

It's only slightly better on maxis and celcom.
Quite simply, if calls are important to u then note 4 is a poor choice.
Unless u prefer to be stubborn and pig headed on it.

I think you misunderstood me. What I want is a more responsive recent apps button, at least as responsive as the note 3 , as currently multitasking on the note 4 is slower than a moto E

Yea a stupid software bug that Samsung somehow missed when testing it.... funny how when see reviews they never mention about the recent app lag ... always say multitasking is fast like stock android ....wooo

Area?  My fren using digi.  No complain so far.  Im using maxis hagen expends any reception issue. . Iinm part time u just need to set ur phone setting. Forgot how.  But unker beny should still rmb

Off ur mobile data. Den use automatically search for netwprk operators. If u use maxis. After result out. Click another network like digi or celcome. Den switch off phone for 5 mins? Den select back maxis. Sth like this. Ifnu wanna knowm seee prev thread for my post lol.

okay guys. those of you got weak signals. can try this. i called maxis. he asked me to turn off mobile data n wifi. and goes to connection setting. search for networks. den click digi and then celcom. den click to maxis. den switch ur n4 off for like 5mins. signal bars shud b improved. mine is running on h but 4 bars atm.

Those facing network issues can easily identify whether is telco related. Just get a prepaid simcard from another telco ( it cost less than RM 10) to test it out. If you still faced signal problems on the other telcos, than better send in unit to service center to check
Personally I always discourage from using Digi which has the worst signals in my 15 years experience using smartphones. I gave up on Digi few years ago. Especially if you want LTE , they only cover 2600 Mhz while Celcom, Maxis supports both 1800, 2600 Mhz. Using LTE on Note 4 means you are being handicap already since the phone supports 2 bands 1800, 2600 Mhz
Personally I had never any signal issues on Maxis and Celcom on this phone or any other Android phone

My wife's camera seems to be laggy during focus. When it was new, it was fast, have already reset camera to default and rebooted the phone. Another issue is whatsapps keep hanging . Her phone is around 4 months old. Her old note 2 did not encounter any of this issues.
