Kawen cepat dapat anak then can claim back.

submit early then u will get early lor……..like some of my kolik submit last minute or final week……wait till june baru dapat cheque in mail from LHDN.

memang boleh direct bank in…..but some don't use online banking n prefer hard copy = cheque

Most passwords are your IC number. Its very popular, my wife also using her IC number as password for lhdn

This is the problem, in doing so, ppl can easily access you lhdn account, and what they do it....lol....change the banking details to their account...lol....my wife got a shock when I ask her since when she has PB account! She said she put in RHB, but someone change it.

Remember to change you password to something else other than your IC number (or phone number)

If you dont register the email, become real problem later.
If you forget you password or anything else, you need to go there again.

And please take note, this will be your permanent active email!
The emails that you update when you fill in the form can be anything. But they will always refer to the email you register with them at their office.
So when you register, make sure its an email that is active.
I previously used streamyx mail (which was discontinued) which created a lot of problems. Same goes to your company email. If you are no more working there, then you need to reregister again.

Also take note, if you forget your password, and need to make new one, LHDN will send to your registered email address. Once you click the link you can change to new one....but...the changes will Not be immediate! Like mine i changed it yesterday, the website still registered it as wrong pass. Only today it recognized the new password.

First timers, when you fill up dun cheat cheat,

Go and Fill up Max items that really you never contributed, like Kurang Upaya, Alat sonkongan diri, Parents Medical etc

In the end, LHDN have to pay you a lot of money...

This will piss em off and you will be called to LHDN to provide receipts.

Yes, small income group always gets called too, and once you are under the LHDN radar, life is going to be very tuff. Not only for 1 year, they will follow up on you for a few years more!!

Many of my friends kena oledi, go and claim max2 for everything

Bukan apa. Last year and few year ago tak ingat bila submit (cuz bini buat) so bila end of the month tengok² apsal gaji banyak sangat. Terpedaya ingat kompeni naikkan gaji senyap².. Rupanya income tax return....

For first timers also. Make sure to simpan all resits for whichever you claim and EA form for at least 3 years (if you do online). Last 2 years I got surat from LHDN to provide reciepts and EA for for the previous 3 years before that. Nasib baik banyak yang ada but those that ada kena bayar balik kat LHDN. Kalau tidak kenot go obersea.

just got my tax refund on friday...and yup it took almost 1 month. maybe depends on the amount.

Paid for about 4years now, fastest 3 day, slowest about 8days but that was the first time I filed it

i filed mine on the 8th april but till now haven't gotten my refund. should i call them up? it's only about rm40 refund, why is it taking them so long...lol

Can anyone guide me whats this claiming thing.. i noticed i got TAXcp39 1xx monthly...

i need layman explanation because i no study high . please assist any kind pros..

Can't exactly sure what you mean by TAXcp39 1xx but most companies nowadays practice PCB (Penyata caruman Baru) where they automatically deducted part of your salary to pay for your income tax.

So every year before April you will get your EA form for the past year income and you use that to file your income tax. Usually the PCB especially if you have not updated your status with the HR they'll deduct base on you salary and does not take into account stuff that you can claim to be exemted from tax, like how many children you're supporting etc and stuff that you purchase that you can claim from tax like pc you purchase (I think you can claim once every 3 years) and other things like donations (provided that you keep receipts etc).

When the time come for you to do you tax filing, you fill up the amount that you can to get back some (if not all) that has already been deducted earlier.

That's basically it.
