you might want to check Battery Saver > show apps that can run in the background
then make sure only important apps are allowed to run

whichever you find unnecessary like games etc don't have to run in background, give notifications etc

As far as eBook readers go, I'm currently using Tucan. It's not too bad, although I kinda do miss CoolReader from Android days.

Has anyone gotten any luck with networking the phone with the rest of the devices in the house? I've been looking half across the Web for an app that had SMB/Samba client functionality, and I only found one paid app (nothing for free). It's amazing that a Windows-powered phone will not connect to Windows-powered PCs.

Also, anybody have any luck getting LTE to work on the 640/640XL? Celcom XPAX user here, and it does not seem to work - either that, or I'm not in coverage area. But I would have thought Bangsar Baru was a prime location...

Kajang area seems support LTE, in fact many area support LTE by Digi

Check the Battery Saver and see what is running.
Something is draining the battery fast that causing the heat generation. If you can't find anything, better send it for checking.
My 640XL do goes warm when charging at fast rate, but charging at slow rate nothing happens.

If I don't use the phone for a few hours. waking it up will cause it to flicker and hang then restart. Sigh....

Nah....just gonna get my finance to get another one from Celcom. Which one would be a good one, an upgrade from the 925 that I'm having. It's not a 625. My other staff have the 625. We decided to get 30 of them for sales and engineers.

Don't think its the phone. Might be MS Exchange and some office apps that have probably gone south. But I just don't have the time to delete one by one and reinstall. Just get a new one and run on minimal apps first.
