Hotlink already sent the notice to all the dealer to increase the selling prive with 6% gst.
Example, Hotlink RM10 reload code sell at RM10.60.

But there are some news which no annonced and said that no increase of selling price for reload code.

Would like to know one thing. Currently subscribed to Maxis One plan, will I be able to purchase a handphone on offer for their One Plan? It will be like a contract extension, no?

If you are not under any phone contract (12mth/24mth) with them it is ok to sign a new contract for the handphone...

However if you are still paying for an existing phone contract then you'll have to pay for termination fees (depending on number of months left )

Yeah since I signed up only for the plan previously, I can buy those phones at contract price

I wondered why the surfmore extra data charges increases. Are there any better plan around as currently i'm using suftmore 30 + 500mb extra data.

Why not go for the Surfmore 50 plan instead from $50?
You will get 2GB and more device subsidy should you choose to get devices from them.

Because of the more expansive maxis to maxis call charges and no more free calls between family lines makes me hesitate

Hmm... Seems feasible for an upgrade now.

What I know is that after you finish your quota, although your phone still shows LTE, your speed is still throttled.

Just the 1Gb postpaid that I paid for RM 50..I just worried that they charge me extra only. Coz LTE throttled still faster than 3G throttled

Should be 48 for 1GB bolt on plan.
If you got dual Sim phone suggest you take the SurfMore 30 as supplementary plan and plug into sim1. For voice, depending on your usage either a TalkMore 28 or 48 will do.
IMO saves more and is still a better combination plan as compared to MOP Lite 78.

You can change the simcard with the same number in any Maxis centre & yes, need to charge for it

How u top up? Have u use the same method last time and got the RM5 credit?

The extra RM5 credit come later after top up RM100 and no together add on to the total credit immediate after top up.
Sometime it have a bit delay.

im currently under subline contract (my dad number is d main line, corporate plan i think as he subscribed to it since 2000)..

recently maxis offer him to upgrade/add surfmore plan which enables all the subline (4 sublines) to get free 1gb data without extra charges...so, 1gb was not enuff for me, i purchased from maxis 1gb monthly upgrade plan which makes my phone to 2gb data...

i was wondering, is there any other plan that have more data but still have free calls n sms between maxis number?

my dad's current contract have free call between sublines (family) btw..

128 for maxis1 plan seems too much for me as i rarely call anyone, just watsapp n surfing insta,twitter,fb

You may try to request to change the #hotlink plan back to normal plan (if u know the trick).
But, no confirm whether can be done or not. Officially hotlink stated cannot change from #hotlink plan to old plan.

Actually no. I am thinking of getting a spare 365 hotlink sim as I have given my old 365 sim to my sis who is overseas. Preference is for hotlink as I can do credit transfer from my postpaid maxis.

If you are using #hotlink plan, u just need to reload any amount to make sure the line active to enjoy free internet in low speed.

Why you want to do that? I think you won't be able to make calls on your phone though.

Anybody got insider news if Maxis will unveil a competitive plan in response to Celcom First Basic 38? Within next week if Maxis no new plan, I plan to switch to Celcom. 3GB unlimited throttle @ RM40 is too good a deal to pass. Currently Maxis can only give unmetered Spotify premium, weak sauce. Hotlink 3GB for RM68 is cut throat, the extra 3GB at midnight useless as nobody uses it.

Does someone have any problem with FB plan? Been using this plan since past year but recently, internet speed for FB link became extremely slower or none. Moreover, i cant even open facebook from browser and often direct me to h.facebook.com. Tried changing device, restart, reconnect mobile network but nothing happens.

The so called Free talk time and Free SMS given due to GST only valid for 2-3 days after reload. Hotlink expected ppl to finish the fee talk time and free sms in 2-3 days? If customer reload RM100, it will be given 50 min free talk time and 50 free sms which will be expired in 2-3 days only.

Also, hotlink force customer to use all remaining SMS and those unused sms will be forfieted after 30 jun 2015
