No wonder. Yeah the first week usually kills you. I followed my friends who were on a 5 day split on my first week and I could barely move. Literally just stopped moving on the weekend.

Keep to your schedule though. No pain no gain after all. Work body parts that dont hurt. Make it a habit to not skip your gym sessions and youll do fine

Want mass gainers? faster way, drink coca colas, red bulls, livita, power gel, 100+ whatever you can think of that you love

Eat, peanut butters(I can eat this for fun, non stop even when I'm full, for some reason), coconut oil(1 tbsp = approximately 120kcal), your favourite greasy burgers(double quarter pounder = more than 600kcal easily + fries and non diet soda? = more than 1000kcal)

It doesn't really take much effort to consume more than 3000kcal per day, okay, for some it can be a little tough but then again, here is a sample meal if I really want to bulk. Dirty bulk without protein shakes or powders to aid in. 3 meals sample

Breakfast

Nasi Lemak with fried chicken (800cal)

http://www.myfitnesspal.com/food/calories/...ed-egg-64660105

Teh Ais (130cal)

http://www.myfitnesspal.com/food/calories/...eh-ais-65346534

Lunch

Meatball sub with cheese and many many things 6inch (600)

http://www.myfitnesspal.com/food/calories/...peroni-18601035

Cookies (200cal)

http://www.myfitnesspal.com/food/calories/...-tambi-59920213

Coca Cola small (140cal)

http://www.myfitnesspal.com/food/calories/...-small-64884077

Fruits say water melon? (80cal)

http://www.myfitnesspal.com/food/calories/...edless-53478107

Dinner

Wendy's Dave's Hot 'N Juicy™ 3/4 lb.* Triple (1000cal)

http://www.wendys.com/food/Nutrition.jsp#

And this is only for 3 meals.

dude seriously what is wrong with you? this is the PROPER pre n post workout thread.. why r u listing all kinda sh*tty food here? this is the bodybuilding thread not bodygrowingsideways thread

How is that wrong in the first place buddy? Especially when there are people saying it's hard to fit in calories?

So are mass gainers healthier than the food that I have described?

If you want proper food, do emphasise here and do explain how are proper healthy foods like? Complex carbohydrates? Starchy vegetables? Lentils? Good fats? High protein? Low fat low carbs?

Trust me, I haven't gone real unhealthy yet.

And most importantly, put your ego aside and stop looking at me as a obese guy, you have no idea how I look like and apparently you have problem comprehending sarcasm.

so u think coca cola is healthy? nasi LEMAK n FRIED chicken? teh ais n cookie?? put your stubbornness aside and please don't be so childish!

Healthy? Did I mention anything about being healthy? I just mentioned that it can be worse.

It was just a simple post for those who finds it hard to fit in calories and to be very honest with you, I did the list based on our typical Malaysian diet.

One can simply replace fried chicken with roasted chicken but there will be less calories and how? Take glorified simple sugars from "Mass Gainers" to fill the gap? So what is wrong with coca cola or teh ais or FRIED chickens?

QUOTE(law1777 @ Mar 20 2013, 02:14 PM)
will these food help grow what u wanted to gain from working out? its a NO!
*
As a matter of fact, yes. Read a little about insulin spikes before you comment. It's not the healthiest but when people are take things like maltodextrin which is one of the few things in mass gainers, why bother? And who is to say that high protein low carb low fat is the best method to build muscles?

Calories are essentials and although I don't do dirty bulk nor do I bulk anymore, I grew and that's a fact.

Not the best but for hard gainers, that's not too bad especially when "glorified sugars" are in fact bloody expensive and contains very little quality proteins.

Read it thoroughly for once

hahaha, LOL. lilredridinghood

I think the first impression that you gave to the newbie law777; had a long lasting impression.

Many of us do bulk in such a way, and there aint any thing wrong with with the proposed meal; instead of a powder.

indeed

I did not know that in spite of my "obvious" sarcastic manner of replying, some still did not get it, ok, maybe not some tongue.gif

LOL.... Long lasting impression? Personally I look from another perspective altogether, it's a way to let others do bit more research. It's a very constructive "sarcasm".. I see many young or rather with years of experienced gym goers, they BULK the wrong way. Nothing beats SOLID food if ones knows what to choose from our F1M'sia Food tongue.gif

I don't think he has any "BAD" intention but more of education..
My first impression to him wasn't a good one anyway since I said I fall under the obese category, then again, he hasn't seen me, the internet especially LYN, never exactly the most serious forum no? LOL.

And so what IF I am "fat"? Does that automatically give him the automatic right to belittle my opinions or thoughts?

flex.gif We don't belittle others, we correct one another smile.gif what made me snap was the "what is wrong with you" part. My words are no less than his no matter how or what, I can be on off season and fat or any scenarios. That being said, me being "obese" was taken too seriously by him lol

With mikehuan, u don't call for TT without whisky, don't offend him. Beers can do as well depending on his mood BUT I hear he likes cocktails, not sure but perhaps you might make him happy with a glass of margarita?

LOL

By the way, I miss the Zinger Double Downs sad.gif
