i feel dissappointing with the licensing. yeah it's a common thing with pes but this is worse than pes5..

well...ea swept all the licensing wanting to attract gamers to the bright colors of fifa 07...this is still a way,way much better game than fifa 07...need a little getting used to cause it is slightly different than WE 10..

never got to touch WE10, I thought its the same.

I heard it's slightly different only. Not much difference compared to WE10. But anyway, I don't have a PS2 at home, so I don't know how to compare. But for a fact, the gameplay feel is really different compared to PES5.

Don't care much about licensing anymore though. We PC version players have the luxury of updating our games with patches created by avid fan communities. With those patches, everything in the game can become authentic - jerseys, team names, team logos, player names, stadiums, advertising boards, balls - you name it, they have it.

Hey guys, just wanted to know whether PES5 is the equivalent to WE10? PES6 is out and WE10 will be out in Jan 07 right. For PC, which game do you guys recommend?

P.S. - I only started playing WE recently when I went to bunk at a friend's place. After a whole weekend of PS WE10, I came back and totally kicked @$$ in FIFA. TOTALLY KICKED @$$!!! So much of difference, man.

PC version of WE10 is name WE2007, if u thinking to get a original game to play online with other members, then u better get PES6.

Like Nakata said, buy PES6 coz a majority of us are planning to buy (and some of us have already bought) PES6 PC version. We can play online against one another. And you definitely need this original version to play online. WE10 PC (or rather, WE2007) will be out in Jan 07, but by the time it comes out, only a few months left till WE11 Japanese version (or whatever it's being called) is released. So it will be pointless to play the old game.

That's why we took the initiative to buy PES6.

You're planning to buy the original version or non-original (or "ahem") version? The original DVD definitely is not sold in Malaysia - you need to import it from Europe (either buy it yourself or ask a shop owner to buy it for you, if they allow it). But for the "ahem" version, it's available la... Go check at Low Yat Plaza. But remember, you can't play the game online with a non-original DVD...

I went to the PJ new IT mall.. even ask the shop owners..

No creation center for this game? I use that to make Malaysia in FIFA all the time.....

PES was always loaded with extra slot for new teams which i have no idea how to make.those GUI for their jerseys and face was a hectic !!!

haha, 6 star no more, and "Top Player" difficulty sounds kinda lame, huhu.
PES6 is the european release of WE10, with some tweaks here and there to cater european audience. WE10 did release in Japan way back on July. We, the australasian and american will get WE2007, which is the same game with different name, and of course different tweaks.

(people said the asia pacific version n american version is the best, because it came out last. so it will consider all the tweaks made in the previous version and made the most perfect one. I unfortunately dun give a damn )

Better get PES6 for online play because it is the first english release for the game, so it will got a widee share of audience compared to later versions. Important for online game as easier to search for opponents. and of course WE2007 release is hell long time from now, long enough its near for the next release in Japan.
(I sometimes think they purposely did that, so that for example WE2007 will compete with FIFA08 in the US, kinda to show that FIFA is always one generation behind to the US audience, which is their strongest marketshare ngahaha~. Still WE got a large fan base there with an older version of the game, huhu )

Now lets import it together shall we?
