got my p70 last weekend to replace my p780 (tho i still keep it as a spare phone).

we all know lenovo phones are mostly good for ONE thing, n thats the battery. and thats why i still go back to buying lenovo smartphones. well i reckon the p70 is overall good value for money; its fast, and i appreciate that it really works smoothly with KitKat (esp when i can install apps to run fully from the external memory) compared to my p780.

though i notice that its battery still drains a lot faster than that of the p780 when using GPS for navigation.

their latest firmware update (S131) appears to have fixed the bad 3G connection issues. now still remains to be fixed are the issues with Waze, where the maps dont load properly - i heard its because the p70 lacks the e compass and gyro sensors. Google Maps works fine on my p70 though.

thanks for the info, good to know about it. I'm ok with the p70 batt draining faster than the p780's, after all it comes with more cpu's. makes multitasking a breeze. i dont game on it tho, mostly use it for work tasks, listening to music n video playback when i'm in the lrt.

switched on at 7am daily, fully charged status. I use it to make phone calls, whatsapp, FB, surf news sites & Google, watch some short video clips and as a tethering connection for my 3G mobile broadband with my laptop throughout the day. As of 1.05am (now), I am left with 17% of battery. note- i kept my mobile 3g connection ON throughout the day.

so i'll usually charge it when i sleep every night. Needs to be charged once daily.
when i used it before in WiFi mode (no sim card inserted), battery lasted almost 3 days.

hi sifus, my p70 camera is lagging. any advice on how to fix it?? many thanks in advance
