STOP SIGNING FOR YES 4G FIZ. IT'S A CRAP LINE AND STUPID T&C.
2YEARS CONTRACT, NO TERMINATION, USER BASE INCREASE AND EVERY NIGHT CAN'T EVEN ON GOOGLE. SPREAD THIS. MAKE THEM PAY.

As with ISP, there are no guarantees, but what ISP can be so teruk until every night 7pm - 11pm can't even load facebook?

The fact you are locked in for 2 years and have the pay the full amount to terminate is really unscrupulous.

Screenshot all your findings and then drop the bomb with MCMC.

They would find a way out for you. Some government agency really do their work, unlike those that were involved quick rich scheme like cough**imigresen**cough**foreign workers**cough...

That's why I don't sign up for FIZ even though I don't have streamyx in my area.

That termination clause and 2 years contract is jackass.

Once you complain to the Service Provider and still can't be resolved. You can always complain to this site.

No cooling off period, not even trial.

Once u get it, u are hooked 2 years, even if u go home and found out no coverage.

Rather than guessing whether effective or not. You should try.

When your Service Provider couldn't solve your queries. Once you complain to CFM, SP have to reply to you no matter what. From there you have a record and you can use this as evidence to terminate without compensation if they service you below what stated in terms and conditions.

Normally is best effort basis, which is 70% speed of what have been promised.

My case as well for Yes Fiz based on their one sided T&C

https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=73103742

Short story:
Zoom spoilt. They didn't want to repair. They make me pay RM320 for a new one. Force me to give Yes the old spoilt Zoom back mentioning it's in their T&C. (It's not in my T&C) So they can recycle the old Zoom to others I presume.

Don't sign up to Yes Fiz!!! Once I finish my contract I will find other better alternative. The 4G makes that they control your equipment. You can't get any alternative due to this monopoly. I feel it's so unethical.

i doubt they got any 'repairing' service

nowadays i think those router/modem maker just swap in a new circuit board whenever handle a warranty claim, won't bother to find which part faulty (cost, time, labour matter). Maybe later would take out the main processor, ram, wireless chips then just dump the old board for recycling purpose.

Yes devices, if not mistaken, still sourced from Korea Infomark. Of course they will make it proprietary to Yes.

Yes that goes under repair. When we ask for Apple to help to repair my broken home button on my iPhone, they will just swap it with a new one.

I'm saying. For my Yes FIZ Zoom, instead of charging me RM320, why not help me RMA and I will gladly pay RM100 or RM200. Just not the full fee for a new Zoom with them taking my old Zoom to recycle to new people.

Exactly this is Yes Suck Co. When wanted to sign in with them, shows you how good is yr Area with a promise of Dark Green (means Max 4G), when goes home and try, Max only 5Gb, when bring back the next day to their shop, they says sorry, can't help and have to continue for 2 years in T & C.

Then ask What's their Best Coverage, says Bukit Indah road name, go there still Max 7Gb, it really a Suck Co.

After 1yrs few days only, Huddle EX modem just off, went to them, just check and tell u straight off Input jack loose, warranty over, no replacement.

This IS REALLY A SUCK CO.

agree with this. Im on YES FIZ too and would strongly recommend anyone against it. Am stuck with this barely usable internet speed for 2 years. will probably switch to other internet provider soon even if it means i have to pay more because YES FIZ simply sucks.Mind you im not even expecting a unifi-quality speed but unable to browse basic sites like facebook/9gag satisfactorily?? whats up with that? Will never deal with YES ever again

I agree - the network speeds are barely usable at best, even at areas with decent coverage... rclxub.gif rclxub.gif

I have signed up for it and now I'm tied to a 2 year contract. Now I don't know how to terminate them without paying a hefty cost to them... sweat.gif

Hi.

I have Yes Super 128 with zoom modem which I want to give up. The monthly data plan limit is 15gb with balance of 1 year contract. Hoping that someone can continue to use while paying the monthly payment. Reason for giving up is due to Unifi now available in my area.

Thank you..

Regards,

Deva
