does hamley(1U) sells nerf? anyone know their prices? at least toy shops in amcorp sells at the same price as TRU, AFAIK.

Forget about the Sonic series, they looks kinda crappy and the clear plastic is probably a lot weaker than the non-transparent 1. Anyway, went to TRU in MV just now, their inventory is kinda small, didn't see longshot, retaliator, rampage etc. I think thus far the biggest TRU I've seen and been to is the one in IPC Ikea.

Feels like buying the ECS-10 but it's too expensive lol, tho I can totally imagine that it will look real good after painting it. And by the way, is the ECS-10 a TRU exclusive at the moment? Aeon/Isetan sell the modulus expansion kit but never seen any ECS-10.

My friend told me about it, yesterday he scanned it rm20, but kinda malfunction. I'm kinda 50-50 whether to buy or not, but when i scanned, its rm10. Straight take it.

After repaired, my friend wanted it, so sold to him rm10. Need to spread nerf love all around.

Well, sadly in MV that's the best we can get. Robinson, Aeon, Aeon Big, Isetan and Metrojaya also have nerf booth, but less item than TRU has.

I find it real weird though. Maybe I have missed it or something. I remember seeing abundance amount of Retaliator and the Sonic ice in Paradigm, 1U and IPC's TRU. But none at the MV's? lol

In MV though, I think they just brought in the Sonic fire strongarm so there are like really a whole bunch of them on the shelves today.

Hmm think I'll buy some white paint. Next nerf blaster paint will be white with black weathering. Just wondering which blaster to get. Longshot or ECS-10. The mega Magnus looks cool too, but at that price of RM67+, might as well just add like 15more bucks to get the Cycloneshock.

The reissue longshot is an exclusive IINM. Wallmart or something. So you wont see it in major retailer here. With the current elite design, a stock LS really sucks, not worth it.

Most of the older stuff probably have been recalled to make room for new stuff.

TRU dont have everything. For example spectre was only available in metrojaya the last i saw it. Hasbro spread out the distribution for whatever reason. Also value pack raider, which was only available in carrefour.

Oooh cool, I'm actually looking for the Mega Centurion but couldn't find it at any TRU lol. Oh well.
And yeah, the Longshot available here is the very old yellow version, box says shoot up to 10m LOL.

Anyway, just got this and hand itchy and had to do something to it. Not very happy with the Ivory color, though
Most likely will repaint it with something else.

Gotta say though, the Cycloneshock is one hell of a handcannon, shoots very well and can feel the impact lol.

the centurion was actually sold in TRU. i guess it got recalled, same as the hammershot. review on it was not too promising though.

the reissue longshot is exactly the same mould. even have the "2006" stamp on it.

Yeah I read bunch of review on Centurion and others than it look super cool, it's pretty pointlessly huge haha. Oh well, I guess there isn't much "rifle-like" nerf blaster around here eh? Oh btw I saw Blazefire in IPC's TRU. RM169.90, no one in the right mind will pay that LOL

By the way, I have also notice there is a new batch of Mega Magnus in MV. The package now says shoots up to 95 feet. And on the shelves there are still some old stock that says shoot up to 85 feet. Is there some real different between the two? Cause I am actually kinda interested to pick up a Magnus.

Yep but it is way too expensive for what it is. You could buy 2 freaking cycloneshock lol.
Anyway, the Centurion is using the reverse plunger so yeah that's out of my list hahaha

Completed the trio, swarmfire, speedswarm and snapfire.

So guys..out of curiosity and purely for cosmetic reason, I bought a Crossbolt. Looks pretty interesting, should be even better after painting, I think I'll keep the blue theme this time heh.

Anyway, this thing is an ergonomic disaster, it's completely catastrophic and absolutely the WORST blaster ever I've ever used (Well not that I used a lot of this is really bad). It literally destroy your hand especially the wrist area shooting this blaster.

It shoots fine, pretty interesting with the power band dart launching mechanism but it is also not very reliable, especially when it jammed, it's gonna be a major PITA to remove the jammed dart. And it also worn down the foam darts rather quickly. The dart foam deformed very quickly using Crossbolt. Also destroyed couple of my darts lol.

It does however shoot a little bit harder than my Retaliator. But accuracy and reliability, Retaliator is way better.
Conclusion, do not get this unless you like it for novelty and cause you just like how it looks like.

juz because the cool fresh design.

Regarding using 'string type bow' blaster, yes, i agreed it just lame, not much fun, inaccurate and also damaging the darts. I've bought a rebelle diamondista for my daughter, and she dislike it, prefer to play with strongarm

Luckily bought it for rm14.

Talk about Rebelle Bow... I did buy 1 for my niece for early Christmas present.
I buy this for her... Strongheart Bow

At first she don't even know what this for, after I teach her to play,
she quite love her bow so much, haha.

BTW another nerf bow blaster call Crossfire Bow.

But I think actually is Blazefire copy Crossfire Bow mostly.
