Yes still region locked on the new 2ds xl. The dragon quest edition indeed look nice, if you want to buy it for collection then i think that is a very nice looking console to keep. If u are not that kind of collection guys, i don't think n2ds xl and n3ds xl got any difference except they removed 3d from 2ds xl.

Ha, don't think that will happen. The new 3ds xl only sell rm999 in most reseller, if the 2ds xl sell rm1k, who gonna to buy it? Expected rm700-800 max for 2ds xl and get price cut for 2ds

Basically it was kinda pointless to hack it since there are so less JP game we can get from here.

Maxsoft can definitely defy all expectations and make it RM1k. They still have tonnes of Amiibos to "giveaway", new games like Miitopia, or some Nintendo Select games.

Basically, anything cannot sell, dump it with a console and a Select game. New 3DS XL? Increase the price with "free" 3 months Nintendo Online subscription.
