Hello fellow Naruto fans, this is a thread designed to talk about the Naruto TCG. We are looking at bringing in the game around the end of October. For anyone interested, just say hi and we will keep you updated on the status of the game.

The first series that we will be bringing in will be The Path to Hokage. We understand that the Japanese version has been here for quite some time but this would be the English version.

interested to start but need to see how the community will grow first

it's a very basic game with only 4 card types. doesn't really pique my interest.

How fast does a game run? if it's 10-15 minutes then maybe i'll invest. i cant see this game dragging for more than that timeframe , though.

We are still awaiting for the first batch of stock from the distributor. Once it is in, we will be able to give out the pricing. English anime games tend to go above RM10 per pack though.

It is probably a short game, and if you are a fan of the anime, its good for collection. I don't see it as a competitive thing, more like fan collection.

The demo on the side seems to make the game quite simple.

isn't it up to 3rd set already?

but i think it will sell . saw the cards at BTS last month.

The game is definitely up to the third set. But since this is the first time the English version is making its presence here, we are bringing it slowly from first set first.

Then we will begin to catch up with the newest release.

Demo decks are now available @ Toybox. If you are interested in learning the game, give me a PM.

The Path to Hokage set is now available along with the starter sets. The game is really easy to learn and quite fun to play.

Try this TCG yesterday in Toy Box. Now still blur about some rulings, but the basic step oledi get use to it. lol

Ah Hoong say u are diggin water element card wor. And he also tell me u are damn despalatly want super rare lol.

The cineleisure fella also teach me how to spot the booster got super rare from the surface la wei. And he say the success rate high up to 80%.

Wah like that you must teach me already. Yeah I looking for Water cards but must combine with something else ma. Either Fire or Lightning.

anyway, the card price how to count wei ?

Usually, two super rare per box.
So far, I opened two boxes, 4 starter. Enuf to have playset of all cards except Super Rare (SR). Since SR only 2 per box.

Tested the game enuf liao, SR not needed to play competitive, but SR gives good advantage. Depends on which SR though.

ei zio, Ive check ur haku online. its 43 USD for ur haku wei.

Toybox tutup pukul 8 unless got ppl storm up there before then and demands we stay open.

Not sure if you know me or not. I played mostly Legend of Five Rings. Played VS wayyy back during the second DC expansion.. what was it again? Green Lantern?

Perhaps. Depends a lot on the timing of tourneys.
I presume for the beginning no promos for the tournament if you run one? I do suggest you run only base set and no promos for the first few tourneys.

Believe, the amount of promos available for this game is a LOT.

Eh? Promos? I thought Malaysia dont have it yet?

Or are promos those starter exclusive cards?

Magazine promos, like shonen jump and the like.
I have a few of them, so that's why i mentioned better not to allow its legality since not everyone has access to it during the games beginning in malaysia.

After awhile, it should be ok since everyone can probably get them.

Hmm tried to make the Fire Water deck..doesnt look like I have enough cards in the first set to make it work..

Eh we are in Paramount Garden, next to Giant and right on top of a shop called Fatty Gan Bah Kut Teh.

We are opened 1.00pm to 8pm on weekdays and 11.30am to 8.00pm weekends.

We open later depending on customer requests

So have you sanctioned for any Naruto tournament yet zio?

Nope, need to speak to the distributor to see what kind of support we can get. Especially on the promo front

Looking at running it on Sundays, RM2 entry with the winner getting one pack.

Only base set allowed. I bidded on some Naruto promos online and if I can get them, I will give them out as prizes as well.

I changed my Water/Fire to Fire/Lightning deck now letting go my Water,Earth and Wind cards..
