Hi all, While window shopping in LowYat today, I came across the IPro Livepad 8.9, aWindows 8.1 with Bing tablet, Atom 1.8GHz, 2Gb RAM, 16/32 Gb storage device with microHDMI-out and microSD card. https://www.facebook.com/IPRO.MALAYSIAHas anyone gotten one? Can you share your experience? Looks like good bang for the buck, much better than Joibook or the 1Gb RAM Acer Iconia. This post has been edited by joytest: Feb 22 2015, 08:57 PM

Actually the cpu clock is 1.33ghz,and 1.8ghz is after boost,
They claim the battery could last for 12 hour, which is good for daily light usage
Also the display is superb, i tried it my self in lowyat plaza, it really full HD screen,
The question remain to be answered is what are the max micro sd capacity it could have, and one down side of the tablet which is lack of full size usb port, imho is the best selling point to me, who want to buy usb to micro USB @otg cable, then connect to the another usb device such as pendrive, why not plug the device directly on the tablet?

Well, nowadays there are micro-usb + USB pendrives with only a small premium, so that isn't much of a problem. Besides, the micro-usb port also serves as a charging port, so it's a BOM reduction issue. The sales guy did say it supported 128Gb. I should have plugged in my spare 64Gb card to test it out. If it supports 64Gb it WILL support 128Gb and higher. Even with the regular price of RM899 for the 32Gb version, I do think it's quite worthwhile. However budget this month is busted

Haha, spec wise, this tablet definitely kill Lenovo and Acer win 8.1 tablet, for promo price at 799 with bluetooth keyboard case, totally worth it.
I might grab one and replace my gaming laptop with this for office work.

I got to try it yesterday, pretty nifty. Slim type, good tactile feel, INCLUDING a touch pad. On its own that is already very good. It's bluetooth and you can pair it with anything you want.

Saw this ad on Intel Malaysia Facebook Page today. From the specs, it's powered by Intel and that's a good enough reason for me to consider this tablet. Since it's powered by Windows 8.1, it can be a really good secondary/on-the-go device to compliment my laptop/desktop usage. The Counter Strike video definitely opened up my eyes on how much the tablet can do. Should really consider this tablet if you are looking for something sub RM1,000. Sadly, I can't find any review on the Internet yet and neither both FB pages have testimonials from fans who have purchased them, that's why I ended up here. Someone should start commenting about the tablet on their Facebook pages. This post has been edited by jasonlioh: Feb 26 2015, 02:26 AM

QUOTE(joytest @ Mar 1 2015, 02:53 AM) Erm, I don't really have a problem with the resolution. I'm using Acer W4 with 1280x800 and it seem just nice in landscape. Can't read a thing in portrait mode. I wonder about high resolution with this screen size. I think it would be useful since I only mirror them to my TV as media player. When I mirror using W4, my TV won't play nicely. I had to extend the display and drag the movie over to enjoy full screen 1080P. Given the lousy GPU, you still had to lower the resolution if you are planning to game. I would wait until cherry trail and see if the gpu would make use of higher resolution screen.

QUOTE(ajay67 @ Mar 27 2015, 09:40 AM) anyone can comment after using it for sometime? www.hardwarezone.com.my/m/review-ipro-livepad-89-16gb-tablet-could Here's a pretty good review on it. The TL;DR is that it's a really good tablet for the price, is well built and the accessories are also affordable. The downsides are that the tablet is heavy and it doesn't have much storage. From my experience, the tablet is pretty impressive for the price. Display is super gooding, and the Windows button being on the side is so useful that I can't imagine it being positioned anywhere else. This post has been edited by Cranky guy: Mar 31 2015, 02:23 PM
