There's no copyright when comes to car mod, you can do whatever you want. I suggest you join Facebook - HRV-V owner Malaysia (Marketplace) for more information. My accessories mostly purchase online from Aliexpress or Taobao, roof wrap have to get reputable workshop or else your sticker will come off within few months.

Roof wrap done at Getto Car Wrap Malaysia.

Quick question - has anyone here completed their 1k service and opted for fully synthetic oil? What's the difference in price and how does it feel?
*
Quite a few had changed to 0-20W or 0-30W during 1K, existing EO that came out already very dark so it's up to individual whether they want to wait till 10K. I've changed mine during 3K to 0-20W, smoother engine and quieter.

Where did you change yours? Inside the SC or outside?
*
Of course Honda SC. Just pay for EO and labour fee. Forgotten the price, pls check with your respective SC.

Forgive me for asking this, but what's the rating on the stock oil the car comes with? I've not received my unit yet, just doing some research to prepare myself for the first few services.
*
No info on stock EO, sorry. You may want to check with Honda.

Thought I'll share it here as well for those who had wind whistling from their side mirror. Pry open cover with your fingers, you'll see a bundle of wiring that was covered with black tape, gaps inbetween those tape causes wind whistle when air is passing through, get a roll of tape and run over it. Done mine and car had went above 120km/h, no more wind noise.

hi, wonder is the white on HRV a pearl white or just normal white?
*
It's normal white. Pearl white have the tendency to turn yellowish after a period of UV exposure.

I also looking at hrv for a potential buy. Anyone can confirm this  as a common problem too?
*
I dunno where to learnt this from, there's no news even in HRV owners facebook page. If my memory serves me well, only one case with engine problem. There's definitely cases of defective, when plant is manufacturing cars by the thousands.

Curious car-surveyor/buyer lurking in LYN here. I'm convinced that HR-V is a good car to get but... just out of curiosity, probably this is a redundant question.

How come Car Club pages like Honda City get butt tons of information, pages, pictures, links, elaborations, accessories agent, defect reports, bias comparison youtube video, self back-patting and high-fiving owners and the HR-V car club get like 30 pages??
*
That's because majority actively engaging discussion in Facebook HRV club.

Just want to say Hi to all HRV folks here! Got my V variant in black (my 1st SUV!) on 5th Sept., though a bit delayed due to the Melaka incident. The posts are really informative, please keep it going. I do notice the sound over speed humps. Will explore and update if it helps..
*
What speed are you going at, when the hear sound appear after humps? Congrats to your new ride, you may want to join us here https://www.facebook.com/groups/1005040876173080/

Thanks for the fb link, just need 3 pics to qualify. So far I'm stuck with 1 pic😊

It was about 30km/hr, I thought it was the tray and moreover no item at the boot that contributed to the sound. I'm also asking my sister (she got her V ruse black before Raya) and shared the forum, hopefully she can share her experience as well..
*
I can live with the knocking because I don't purposely drive over hump at speed of 25-30 km/h. Honda SC has yet to solve this problem as no owner has successfully rectified theirs.

Worse case scenario I will take it to outside workshop. cool2.gif

During the speed humps test drive with the SC advisor, we removed the tray, all tools kits, make sure the spare wheel is fully secured, the knocking 'Thomp' sound still persist.

Please check your AC temperature control. Make sure that you are able to adjust to the warmest and coldest temperature settings.
*
Have SC found root of the problem for your case?

Being to SC 3 times, changed shock absorbers, change AC thermostat but still can't solve the problem. The advisor told me he will report the defects to Honda Malaysia and now pending out come from Honda Malaysia. (already more than a month). Please file a report too to get voices heard.

Unable to control the AC temperature is totally unacceptable.
*
I've no problem with thermostat. For knocking I will let them know during 10K servicing that is next month.
