There is no 2nd team. For me, liking another club is one thing, having a 2nd team is totally a different thing.

v. nistelrooy and ronaldo both cost less than 20 million each. Veron cost more than 20 million though
But most of their successes in the 90s depended on a lot on their youth players and shrewd signings (cantona 1.2 million)..

I hate them but that doesn't mean I don't respect their history

hahah that's why I said there is no 2nd team. To me I support LFC till the end, it's like having a wife.
You can't expect me to think "if my wife didn't exist, I wouldn't mind having so-and-so as my missus"... naww.

Maybe my analogy is a bit extreme though, but I can't imagine watching football without LFC.

Admiring a club's football = one thing
Wanting a club to do well = one thing
Supporting a 2nd team = one thing

Doesn't having a 2nd team mean you are supporting another team? Wanting a club to do well is not the same as supporting them IMO.
