hey there, would like to know if this router support just Access Point(AP) mode?
i'm here in a small-size office looking for a good wireless AP to support around 10~15 active users. wonder if this serve the purpose well.

anyone is welcome to share your opinion. thanks!

I read the title and was confused. How could a N router get 750Mbps... Turns out it's combined bandwidth..
Normally router companies don't advertise "combined" bandwidth.
750Mbps is speed for AC router, not N router.

It does work after you change to custom router , but you have plug in from original router to TP-LINK router number port 4 .because TP-LINK router does not have ADSL port for the cordless phone

Because it is dual band router, so the simultaneous 2.4GHz 300 mbps and 5GHz 450 mbps connections for750 mbps of total available bandwidth

Ah. Alright, got it.
It's just that people normally state 2x2 or dual band instead of adding up the 2 bands.
I think most laptops don't have dual band adapters to utilize both bands simultaneously anyway. Except for new smartphones and some laptops that have MIMO adapters.

Hi guys, has anyone gotten this working with the Astro IPTV using Maxis Fiber? I managed to get it to work, but the performance was really poor.

Please update to TL-WDR4300_V1_150331(VLAN_My

It has Guest Network.

http://www.tp-link.com.my/support/download...4300&version=V1

This update also enalbes the 'Hardware NAT'.

Very nice improvements, recomended. It took 2 years to get it right,,, but, atleast it is already here..

Thank you.

I have this router. I believe my modded linksys wrt54gl performed better in terms of stability and range.

And it very much depends on your wifi card as well. A router can only do its best if it is coupled with a same spec wifi card. My note3 only sees 72mbps only while 1 of my laptop max at 300mbps
