originally the wires are all in the cars inside pillars,local mech they pull the wires under the car with air cond cable.
get ur self some heavy duty wires,save costs than to let the mech buy.
trust me.

but make sure they don't get it wrong oh..cause usually those ppl dun really know how volkswagen wiring works..they simply put only..then sure some function will missing..maybe wiper cannot use..or highlight..anyway..after u finish do the wiring..better check all..even reverse light..

i also wish i can do my beetle some DIY job..but mostly i only can do for few hours of DIY job..cause my beetle is my daily ride..i dun reallyl like to drive honda or toyota..but i like to drive my beetle around..even it's not powerful or not sporty..i still like my beetle..and sorry if there is any toyota or honda fans here..
