Added on October 12, 2008, 12:49 amcombi and safari is cute..but 1 thing u all got to take note before getting a combi or safari..is that the engine compartment is very small..so if u wanna change some parts that is a bit in..u got to bring down your whole engine to change that very small part...for example change the oil cooler seal..the part is like 5cent coin size..price around rm30 is the max..but workmanship..cost around rm200 to 300..cause u got to bring down the whole engine..

not easy lor..not everyone knows how to change those parts in the proper way wan leh..ifu did change it in a wrong way..sumtime it might worsten up our car more lor..

by the way..how your overhaul engine running??good??mine 1.3 is kind of good..everytime heavy heavy foot kasi sama dia.. then now change to a smaller tire..lagi better f.c and also pickup and also topspeed..

anyway...changed small tire?then ur meter not accurate anymore..will be "faster" lo...
the engine not yet tune...now having final exam...
after exam will check the dynamo,and then will tune it.
then only test drive lo..
but so far,the sound is nice but felt underpower..

I dint own combi, but i wanto know the 2nd hand cost how much then need how much to do the modification to make it nice n drivable on the road...

coz i already start saving money for this for the last 2 years...only i cant find anyone who wanto let go the combi

nah..i know it will turn up faster..but i don't really mind the speedo meter will be faster or slower..as long the car is lighter and also better for FC ma..but the car ride is a bit hard lar..u can try it for urself also wan ma..buy those 2nd hand tire and try lor..2nd hand tire cheap cheap only.. around 30 to 90 per tire u can get already..

um...well i'm planning to get jap performance tire...

so u save as much money as u can,and wait for the time to come.
about modding,i cant give u a figure,it solely depend on wat u wana do.but mostly van costs more than a bug in repair and parts.

i want one with running engine and preferably the engine is well maintain. recently i've only get to find out there is one shop in GLENMARIE! loaded with OLD SKOOL VW. mayb ill head over and have a look. there is a few very nice ones parked outside the old shop.

so u just want a well maintained engine no matter how bull shit the car body is?
in that case around 3k-5k u'll get one.
but rebuilding costs u a bomb.

i know a shop selling japaness performance tire..over at puchong..wanna have a look together?? price around 50 to 90..i get mine from a forumer here..kind of good service he gave me..also very jaga my rim and my car..those 2nd tire also not bad..i like it..work damn good during wet day..also let him fix my alignment and my chember..cheeann..i think rjksoo should know him kua..if i not mistaken i saw him introduce other ppl to tis cheeann..

last bug O rama..a guy bought a safari for 50k cash..and worth or not..is the guy who bought it only can tell it out..
