Started with original mainline client, switched to BitTornado, then Azureus, Bitcomet, µtorrent and back to Azureus again. Still using it since it has plugins like Safepeer and haven't had trouble with getting good speeds with it.

Bitcomet seems to be a CPU hog when coupled with an IPfilter file. Although Bitcomet seems to be very aggresive, Azureus seemed to be able to attain better speeds overall on my ADSL2+ connection. biggrin.gif

I'm using a Linksys WAG54Gv2. No problems with 1000 connections with Azureus/µTorrent.

Did you forward UDP as well? That's the protocol which DHT requires. Most port forwarding defaults to forwarding TCP only.

hmm so does this means that if i dl stand alone ... and i put it in my pen drive .. then i go cc/office/places without BT client or watever then i can still download torrent ?

True to a certain extent. The first time you run the EXE from wherever you have put it in, it would usually create a uTorrent directory in C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data and all your settings would be stored here. If you bring your pen drive and plug it in elsewhere, you would probably have to set all the settings you have changed from the default values.

so that means stand alone is better right ? How come the file is smaller ?

Like samurai1337 has said, it's the same thing. The EXE is the same regardless of whether it's standalone or via installation.
