I'd take Rooney over RvP and Falcao as a CF on current form of Falcao and RvP.Heck,i'd start Wilson as the CF,Rooney behind him,AdM on left wing,Tony V on right,Blind and Herrera in midfield.

Rooney was clueless TBH during that Burnley match.Falcao's poor,yes,he's returning from a long time out due to a serious knee injury,but by now,he should be firing in some goals already.

Don't think the problem is really up front. At the moment we move the ball too slow. By the time it reaches Falcao and RvP, there are too many defenders surrounding them. LvG might need to swallow his pride and get the team play the Man Utd's 4-4-2 again with wingers. Di Maria and Januzaj on the flanks with freedom to run at defenders. Or perhaps he did consider reverting back to old system but he just can't trust his defenders. Tough job!

you look for talent, you must also give the talents a reason to come over. All teams want the best, the best players can teach the younger talents to be better. To get the best, you have to pay.

You don't compare Roma with United. Totally different league, both country and stature. And to think that some fans want united to drop in stature so that the manager can go while we are still competing for a champions league spot after a disastrous season. If we are out of the champions league next season, players like di maria, de gea, rooney, rvp, mata all would wanna leave. You want to poach players, not let you players be lured away to other clubs promising champions league football.

Well, he's correct. We are slow to move the ball forward long ball or not. Players took too many touches before passing. We have pacey players but they are not used for their speed. We have creative midfielders but I don't see their creativity. And of course there's the Rooney conundrum. I truly believe the reason we are winning its because opposition are confused on what United is supposed to be I will accept these kind of ugly play if we finish in the top 4. But it has to change next season.

falcao control ball is very very poor. 80% time he gets ball, he lost it. and 20% he managed to pass sideways or backwards.

next season play this ugly but wins league still acceptable.
