Don't think the problem is really up front. At the moment we move the ball too slow. By the time it reaches Falcao and RvP, there are too many defenders surrounding them. LvG might need to swallow his pride and get the team play the Man Utd's 4-4-2 again with wingers. Di Maria and Januzaj on the flanks with freedom to run at defenders. Or perhaps he did consider reverting back to old system but he just can't trust his defenders. Tough job!

Yup, both were better on the left. Bring back Nani?

For u guys, I think either 1 have to be sacrificed la. Either Falcao or Rooney. But for now it seems like Rooney is the 1 being sacrificed for playing in midfield. LVG still have faith in Falcao. Well, I think that's what u get when u have so many top quality strikers. RVP, Falcao and Rooney diz 3 strikers memang starting 11 material, d question is, who to sacrifice to be played out of position.

Actually I reckon Falcao or RVP has to be benched if Rooney to play as a #10 and feed whoever is in front. That said, Falcao is probably getting his run of games to find his form and improve fitness ... so LVG can decide whether to sign him in the summer or let him go. RVP is playing because in spite of our horrendous slow ponderous build up play, he has still managed to weigh in with some goals and assists. Rooney is playing in CM because LVG didn't trust Herrera there.

Hopefully the Burnley game and Herrera's performance in it has changed his mind. If he trusts the Spaniard to play in midfield, there is a higher chance he will be willing to play Rooney further up front.
