yes O/G is a small community and news will spread quickly and also most people would work in a complete circle/loop from operator-vendor-contractor.

carry a good name... unless you want to be in the company you jump to your whole life...
but the kicker would be when your newly hired boss in the future is from your current company...
it is small... seriously

When you work at current company, you don't know that you need 2 months notice?
And when you accepting offer from next company, you never state how long required?

I've got an offer from Muhibbah..the notice period for current company is only 1 week..but the problem is i just a contract staff until next year..may i ask for your suggestion?

Spanish O&G has paved their way into Malaysia market. Now we have Repsol (bought over Talisman), CEPSA (bought over Coastal Energy, RSC for KBM Cluster JV with Petra Energy), and Teunicas (RAPID Project).

I notice there's a shell building at the side of the experian building. Is it all the IT people who are under HP contract worked there?

But got a lot still dreaming that they are Shell employee.
Nowadays companies originating from Europe are down sizing and cutting man power in other countries. Siemens just started another round of 4500 employees after Feb's 7000.
