Is it possible to turn off/on with bluetooth?
Or is there something like turning it on and it saves power while no bluetooth devices are connected?
Or you must to turn it on and off manualy?

It is possible to turn off the Edifier R2730DB with the provided remote control.

However, you can't turn off the speaker via Bluetooth Devices such as your smart phone or computer.

When its turned off by remote control, Edifier R2730DB speaker consumes 0W (0 Watts = checked with my power meter).

You have the option to turn on/off by remote control or flipping the switch behind the active speaker.

Sad that there is no such feature yet.
It would be a good feature to turn on/off speakers with a bluetooth device which will be used to play music...
What if you leave speakers on with bluetooth mode (no device connected)? Maybe it goes to "sleep mode" and doesnt consume much power just waits for bluetooth device to connect (only bluetooth is using the power)?
That would remove the need to use remote and also would be useful if you go to sleep and your bluetooth device turns off automaticaly after some time.
I wish they would add such feature if it doesnt exist...

I'm not sure if there are such speakers exist that allows a Bluetooth device to turn off the speaker.
What I can confirm is we can use the remote to turn the speaker off and on without relying on pairing with it using bluetooth.

My friend said that even his old speakers (Grundig hifi-box 40) goes to sleep if no music is played for some time.
I am interested to know does edifier r2700/r2730/r2800 have such feature.
