Whole day sucking me when Dollar Basket holds there. Just wait for retrace, no choice now.

3hrs? ohmy.gif  I traded for 1hr 42 mins only. rolleyes.gif

Dollar Basket stuck on top now, might be retrace soon. wink.gif

check 1HR tf..sliding down since. retrace also think twice of entering...oversold. Thats close to 100 pips down for the last 3 hours. might go range bound now ..

Oppose the weak and stand on strong. But now I also confuse, just now Cable weaker, now Eur weaker. sweat.gif
Passes all the confluence area, if retrace and rejected, I believe still a good sell. Unless it want to do it on overnight. unsure.gif

Yeah, it might be. Have a good day today, just don't want to fight it, otherwise greed emotion will come. Quite good reason for me to come out on Dollar Basket. Holding EUR can run it because weaker now. I hold Cable, that's y I closed it. rolleyes.gif

Be careful. Expect correction to test the 1.071 again. It's time to buy cheap now before go to TGIF for beer. Long term, 1.05 still within reach until 1.046 will be tested again IF nothing fundamentally significant on US comes up before 24th April (Most unlikely BUT anything is possible like in CHF case). Finger crossed, may the finest win in this battle.

Hi!

A friend of mine has been trading on demo account since Mar-2013. He claimed to be a long-term trend trader & only trades based on weekly charts. Basically he keeps adding his position (BUY on pullback or SELL on rally) and has been trading on 5-pairs. As of 8-April-2015, he is still holding to his positions as he said that there no signals for him to liquidate his positions yet.

Attached are a summary of his trades since Mar-2013. I have used 8-April-2015 CLOSING PRICE to calculate his cumulative gains (in pips) for each of the 5-pairs that he traded. The average gain per pair is 10,800 pips for slightly more than 2-years. His max. trades per pair for the period of 2-years is 10 positions (GBP/JPY).

Can any sifu out there comment on his trading results?

There are difference between trader and investor. Adding position to a trade does not impressed at all even how many money you are profiting, at least to me.

Trader: Which use leverage to maximize their short term trading opportunity but in other hand, they are taking more risk.

Investor: They doesn't use leverage, and they hold it as a contract terms or another example, "Futures".

Amateur Trader: As long as I stay in the market, I will hit the jackpot sooner or later.

Professional Trader: The more time I expose on the market, the more risk I am taking on.

Just my stupid view. icon_rolleyes.gif
