However, don't be surprised that you'll get more confused after checking the guidelines. Mine is an intermdiate terrace house with 15feet lorong belakang, under DBKL. I plan to do kitchen extension in the backyard to the sempadan. I found the guidelines in DBKL website but the guidelines are different.
This site says can extend to the sempadan, tarikh kuatkuasa 2017

But this site  says differently that must have 10ft set-back from the sempadan, diluluskan 2013, kemaskinin ke website 2020

So which is the latest guideline? Totally confused

Went to DBKL the other day, they officially told me they follow this

This guideline also stick on the counter to show to the public.
