I'm planning to setup a home karaoke system.

However I need to understand how to slap the lyrics on the videos.

I read some tutorials online with Cool Edit Pro and Sony Vegas, but I'm still looking for an easier way.

Any sifus tried to edit their own videos before for karaoke?

Youtube should have this editting feature....or atleast the iMovie for Mac is the simplest one ive tried before.

I'm now in the direction of ripping out the audio of the mpg and make 2 channels (1 with vocal, 1 without) as left/right audio then somehow put them back into the mpg.

I don't know if I am confusing anyone... Sorry. Noob here.

Cool Edit Pro and Sony Vegas is the best way,also can try Adobe Premiere.
