It's normal with this maxis router 🤦🏻‍♂️. Gets worse if the router has not been physically restarted after 20hours or so.
Changing the router will definitely fix the dropping issue.

Dropping issue is suddenly disconnected & reconnected correct? Mine was like that. A few seconds, but very obvious when live streaming or gaming

Only 2.4g is one old laptop.
Others wired and phones 5g

All got issue one. The router cmi.

Usually will have about 18-20 devices connected at any given time.

i suspect it cant handle a lot device request as same time.

If you don't use VOIP direct can charge. If you use, you can add another router but c5v off WiFi n let new router handle WiFi

some how, maxis using TP Link should be very reliable brand but end up such poor router base on what i see in here.
i hv TP Link extender plug, maybe can try your method. thanks for recommended solution

yesterday maxis come to fix my slow connection.
they change my BTU from first gen Unifi BTU to latest white colour BTU Unifi.
yet speed still slow. end up they change my router..
not sure is lucky or what, as the technician short or home router, they change SME router for me.
the SME router is the Arminia router but upgraded version.
i feel it very very stable as compare to previous consumer arminia or tp link router.
no disconnection or speed drop after 24 hours usage.
yet stably support multiple device where i hv around 14 device connected at any point of time.
it constantly hitting 100mbps as well. rclxms.gif
