Hi, why I see advertisements (usually agent) got RM20 rebate for 24 months for 300mbps? which mean customer pay RM129 only for 24 months.

Hi, anyone using Maxis Fibre had any issue with Apple iCloud services such as Private Relay unstable (sometimes available, sometimes unavailable? And also can't backup photos in iCloud (it has been stuck in the sync for few weeks already).

QUOTE(fruitie @ Sep 14 2023, 10:43 AM) My Private Relay is switched off so no comments. However, my photos are backed up all the time with no issue. More than 13k photos and 1.3k videos. I cannot even back up my phone to iCloud. I've checked with Maxis they said it is Apple issue. but check with Apple they said it is network issue. jusbella liked this post

QUOTE(jusbella @ Sep 14 2023, 11:17 AM) Have u try different network? Unifi, celcom digi, xox, yes 5g. I've tried using my hotlink mobile data and it seems ok. but of course I won't be using mobile data to backup my phone. the issue only occured to my wifi connected devices such as iphone, macbook, and even apple watch (it keep ask my to sign in to my icloud), but for sign in, I will turn on mobile data and off wifi to do it. It seems like Maxis fibre block the access. IDKOr maybe u can try vpn and test and report the outcome. jusbella liked this post

For now, I can use the private relay as usual. Only the iCloud backup things are still not resolve yet. they need 24 hours to check remotely. The person calling from 123 is quite helpful and friendly.![]() ![]() jusbella liked this post

QUOTE(epicure @ Sep 23 2023, 08:01 PM) Hey Hey sorry for the late reply, been busy this pass few days. Did you managed to resolve this ? I'm also having problems with icloud photos not syncing on Maxis Wifi. No matter what I do, it just stays stuck Yeah, Maxis tech did come to my house to check and sadly, they can't do anything. I also ask did Maxis specifically block icloud services, he can't answer it and keep blaming Apple restricted ecosystem. I'm lazy to argue and just assume that Maxis not aware of this, or not willing to share with the users on the actual causes. As for now, whenever I want to backup my stuff, I will go to my relative house that is using Unifi/Time fibre. |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Sep 26 2023, 05:51 PM) Oh, then it is TM infra. I'm not sure why though... I used my own router, does that make any difference? I guess no. what brand of router are u using? yeah I don't think it will make any difference. the maxis tech did ask me to go to apple centre and bring all my apple devices to check with them. but I don't have time to do so yet. haha |

Hi,
I received this Free Speed Upgrade promo. And I am still under contract. My question is will the RM20 rebate still applicable if I opt for this promo? Thanks 😊 Add on: I did check with Maxis CS, but they are not sure about this despite the FAQ got mentioned it. 😅 ![]() ![]() ![]() This post has been edited by rannworld: Mar 17 2024, 03:31 PM |

QUOTE(Keatsan @ Mar 11 2024, 04:20 PM) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Sigh, disappointed with the Maxis billing dept team. Lodge report with Maxis 3 times, MCMC 2 times, but still cannot resolve. Always say, next billing cycle will be given back rebates. Sudah masuk bulan Mac 2024, but still paying RM149 for 500mbps without the rebates of RM20 x 24months from the initial 300mbps plan. I called Maxis and said, if they breached this by removing the rebates, does this means I'm out of contract since the rebates gone? Unifi is always tempting me with price matching + 6 months free. In this case, Maxis billing system seems failed to capture the rebate. I will definitely holding in my decision to accept the Free Speed Upgrade promo. 🥲 Keatsan liked this post

QUOTE(Keatsan @ Mar 17 2024, 05:34 PM) Lodge 2 reports to MCMC, following up with Maxis CS every 10 working days. This is so unprofessional service from Maxis, I really hope they will refund back all your paid rebate. The only answer is to wait for their investigation and will fix this. Same copy pasta answer. As their FAQ clearly states that “ Yes, your current special discount offer will be carried over to the all-new Maxis Home Fibre plan until the special discount expiry.” ![]() This post has been edited by rannworld: Mar 17 2024, 05:39 PM |
