Hi guys,

I am planning to subscribe to Maxis Fiber internet 10mbps for my landed property.

Can I know whether the speed advertised is what you get? Also, the connection is stable for landed properties? Internet activities, mainly are streaming and watching youtube, rarely play games.

Thank you.

I've always gotten 100% (maybe more?) of advertised speed, never had speed problem so far in my 1 year usage now

Thank you smile.gif

May I know if I want to have the modem and router in my room, drilling is necessary?

You'll need a cable to your room.

Depends on landed or high rise. Mine high rise, so I have a port from the wall already - to which I can't drill anymore.

Alright.
Mine landed. My family actually have a unifi line already installed to the port on the wall.

I am planning to have my own internet in the room. So i am not sure whether Maxis can pull a new connection to the room with FOC tongue.gif

They won't give you another fiber line, they'll use existing unifi btu then connected to Maxis router, so you only need pull lan cable.
*
Means there will be 2 connections from the same port where we use our unifi?

Won't the speed be the same then?

The BTU got 4 lan port, port 1 is unifi, port 2 is Maxis, the rest port reserved for future internet service provider.

One fiber line can support up to 1.xx GBPS. So if you understand this, then you'll understand speed will be same as what your subscribed.

Thank you bro....
