Yup. I renewed contract with them this evening d... Took option 2..
Schedule to come install new hardwares on Saturday noon.

Didn't thought they would offer me anything actually... Bcoz many times I called customer service 123 to ask about recontract fiber and my phone plan and mentioned about terminating they just asked why but didn't offer me anything...
But today when I finally made up my mind to join unifi with the agent and bring the transfer request to maxis center.. Only when processing halfway through on the phone call at the maxis center, they start their retention offer. Lol

If gaming wise, always pick Maxis over Unifi cuz they don't restrict/block any games/server.

Even their Default Wifi 6 router is better than Unifi, but 3rd party router always superior hahaha

my 3 years experience with maxis, i never had downtime.

Customer service wise, there was one time im experiencing high ping and packet loss, they gave me rebates as long as the case is ongoing which is something Unifi won't do lol.

But yeah, if your Unifi is pretty much stable, there shouldn't be a problem for maxis too since they are sharing the same backbone. The only difference is just their routing.

I was from unifi > Maxis because of 3 reasons :

- unlimited data plan on postpaid
- backup 4g dongle
- Maxis will rush TM to fix line problem and better follow up service if you report MCMC and provided me compensation [rebate on service loss days]

Why I did not liked unifi :

- if you encounter any problems and report MCMC, unifi still doesn't give a shit on it [slow response all the way], no follow up call even after issue resolved, no compensation on service loss days
- no backup dongle, unifi down = outage
- if you terminate / switch line ..... wow good luck to you ... there are many threads out there complaining the slowness of TM unifi side on processing - on releasing the port to Maxis (mine took 1.5 months after reported to MCMC!)
- maxis never called and bother me to upgrade plan, unifi agent did (at least once annually).... so annoying....
- Unifi had very bad stock wifi router back then .....serious packet loss when more devices connected 

Well... of course, everyone gets different experience

Backup dongle is minimum subscription period is 1st year, NOT expired and gone after 1yr. I still have it right now beyond 1st year anniversary, month 18th(?).

Have you applied the free speed upgrade through MyMaxis app?
It's not automatic even if eligible and free.
