For the RM159 deal, the price revert back to 249 right? Anyone get offer to retain the same price or lower after 2 years contract?

Maxis also give ONR like unifi? Can I use my own router? Can't decide to stick with unifi or port over to maxis. The main worry is possible long delay when there is fiber issue involving TM.

QUOTE(blacktubi @ Aug 20 2025, 09:34 AM) If it's major, area wide fiber issue then don't worry as other TM customer will complain and they will fix it quickly Thank you for the information. I guess safer to stick with unifi since I work from home. Speed of restoration is important for me.But if it's fiber issue within your premise then there will be some ping pong between Maxis and TM Maxis is still using separate modem / fiber solution |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Aug 20 2025, 04:18 PM) Well, if you have no issue with UniFi currently you won't have issue with Maxis. My condo is also using UniFi infra and I'm using Maxis Fiber, it has been three years, TM was not required to fix anything that specific for my unit. If it is any outage, it affects all users regardless UniFi, Maxis, Digi or etc, TM will still fix for everyone. I had broken underground fiber twice due to rat frew years ago. Last repair they do splicing, not sure if my cable can get very good reading for 1 Gb. Furthermore, Maxis mobile coverage is not great in my area. Maybe next round.I also work from home exclusively |

QUOTE(K555 @ Sep 10 2025, 04:27 PM) but NGBB also tied with TM Infra right? NGBB is Maxis own infra, TM is called HSBB. How I wish NGBB available in my area.so when Maxis Fibre gone south, so same thing their service to restore will be slow as well? This post has been edited by cyberic: Sep 10 2025, 04:42 PM |
