QUOTE(NightHeart @ Dec 26 2018, 10:49 AM) I tried this for 5 minutes, the only result is "Request timed out" My normal ping to Google is fine. It's just that the ping while online gaming will randomly shoot up high. Using DotA is the easiest way to measure for me because I can view the ping in-game. So I'm wondering if Maxis Fibre has something that causes random high pings to DotA servers or Steam? SEA server got 2 servers to Steam. Try either. There's no way to know which Steam server are u connected to. CODE ping -t sgp-1.valve.net or CODE ping -t sgp-2.valve.net This will give you the most accurate ping to Steam server.

QUOTE(mztang52 @ Dec 30 2018, 11:46 AM) Guys, there is some people I know in a group has gathered together (Maxis users) to buy a Netgear router. Of course, the price would be cheaper and as you know netgear is obviously way more better than the original Maxis router If anyone wants to order one also, please DM me asap, because we need to order also. Currently already have gathered 8 people. As you all know Maxis router is erhem *cough* No business here but just want to gather more people so that everyone can get a cheaper price for each unit. Everyone gets benefits also. Let me know asap yaaa May i know which netgear router?

Did anyone actually try using remote management on the stock router? I tried activating it and yet I am still unable to access my router login page remotely.

Guys, anyone tried to do remote management on the Archer C5v? I turned on all remote management and I still cannot access it outside the router. Do I really need to ask for static IP or as long I know the current public IP will do? Currently it's dynamic.

QUOTE(ArmedandDangerous @ Apr 17 2020, 12:22 PM) Anyone got their 100Mbps line upgrade yet? They mentioned within 3 days, and today is the 3rd day from when they sent the email to me. So it should be today or tomorrow if they don't count day 0, but tomorrow Saturday... Dono will activate or not. I've gotten mine already. Checked with speedtest and it's indeed 100Mbps!

QUOTE(xenothrix @ Apr 23 2020, 10:24 AM) anybody opted in for the so called free upgrade program? i got a call recently from their call center and the guy mentioned that i need to move to new router to enjoy the offer (thus extending my contract). have you gotten the speed upgrade yet? I upgraded mine bcos they say my contract wont be affected. So after 1 month, im going to chg back to 30Mbps. Since your’s requires contract renewal/extension, don’t bother upgrading. They trick you for 2 months and then u need suffer for the next 22 months. Simple yet easy way to scam people. Free and loophole can exploit, ambik je.

QUOTE(sitescope @ Apr 24 2020, 11:44 AM) Meaning after 1 mth they also took new router frm u And give back your old router ? They did not give me new router as my current one is capable of 100Mbps. So that’s why my contract did not change.

QUOTE(xenothrix @ Apr 24 2020, 11:02 PM) when I upgraded from 10mbps to 30mbps about 20 months ago, maxis replaced both modem and router. Router now Lucent I240. Can support gigabits? And router is also replaced to TPLink Archer cv5 or something . I still have about 3 or 4 months before my contract ends so if it affects my contract I am not going to do anything too. B4 MCO, 30mbps is quite sufficient - with not too much concurrent streaming between 4 users. Now quite occasional 3 or 4 people streaming video at the same time. 30mbps seem laggy. Tempted to go 100mbps. Mine's the same as urs. TPLink. BTW, I think u are confused. Modem = Lucent I240 Router = TPLink Archer cv5 (it's actually c5v) Well, ask Maxis CS 1st if they are sure that your contract won't be affected after taking this offer and downgrading after the 1 month period. Make sure you have a copy/proof of them saying so (use maxis live chat).

QUOTE(miss comet @ Apr 25 2020, 04:09 PM) How to downgrade after 1 month? Need to call sc or can do in maxis app? Pretty sure you need to call CS and do so. Or maybe this Live Chat will do also.

hi guys, im not sure if this question has been asked and answered again and again but I would really like to know how to do port forwarding on stock router (Archer C5v). I tried to set port 80 (common port) open and try to check if port is open, and the port checker app says no. I wonder what I did wrong tho. Like could anyone guide me?

guys, the new wifi router (wifi 6 one from KR company) they provide, the interface and stats that it offer is way lesser than the old stock router (connected devices and how much data and current speed they are using/sucking now). Any idea which section or there's another way to view more stats than this current one right now?
