QUOTE(kevloke @ Nov 9 2017, 10:56 AM) Yesterday TM came to install Unifi 30mbps $139 using back my Maxis Fibre Line. Tested superfast 3x faster than my Maxis 10mbps $118. I wish I could cancel my current Maxis without the penalty after seeing your post tho.

QUOTE(karheng @ Nov 16 2017, 07:35 PM) I have just submitted the request for upgrading from my existing 20Mpbs/RM158(old plan which is still 9 months contract left) to 30Mbps/RM139 at USJ Taipan. The person in charge said no penalty, just have to tie 24 months contract. I am satisfied with maxis fibre, so far speed stable all day. Please keep me posted if you’re able to make the switch. I’m still under 10 month’s contract too.

QUOTE(WeddingStuff @ Nov 25 2017, 02:30 PM) Better beware that the Maxis Fiber Wifi is very UNSTABLE. I'm in fast connection area, and yet my Wifi is so unstable that I often prefer to use my Digi mobile connection instead. And even their fiber line itself got issues every now and then, like once/twice a month. Certain sites just cannot access for a while, or....no internet connection at all. Speed wise also not sure is it really keeping up with what they advertise. If you're depending on their Technicolour router, then you may just go ahead and

I believe they will follow-wise. Otherwise, they're out of the league. We are not talking about 1x or 2x, but a jaw-dropping 10x upgrade

Good bye Maxis. RM500 is basically nothing to port out for 300Mbps.

Guys, Maxis has done it again. Better check your July billing. Just found out that I got charged additional RM132 for no reason. Ended up, the excuse was System Error. Well done. This post has been edited by EdwinCodec: Aug 5 2018, 11:44 PM Attached thumbnail(s)

As if for me, I will just ask them to come over the pass the router over without installation required as the router provided by them is always shitty.
I rather use my own router.

QUOTE(yellowbox @ Sep 6 2018, 05:53 PM) Should check if there is any new contract. If not, it really is no brainer to upgrade. It's clearly written on the website that a new 2 years contract will be imposed. Jeez, why people just don't read.

I’ve gotten a call from Maxis. I personally hold two Fibre accounts. They called me on the Biz plan upgrade, but not the Residential upgrade. I was so curious and asked them why is that so? They mentioned they are going by batches.

QUOTE(danieltay @ Sep 12 2018, 07:51 PM) On fire bro! Register on the first day 20/8 on 9.30pm, help my friend register a few hours later. My friend got a call on 4/9, and router changed on 8/9 So u think why I need to pay rm30 more for 3 times lower speed? Why first come not first serve? Why last come sever first? And I calll Maxis for the past 7 days yet no one calling me Email Maxis for more than 5 days not answering me If you're me, you very happy lah, is it? Take a chill bill bro. I’ve seen you pissed for days..
