2. Restart both router and modem, not working. Still LOS

Chat with Maxis agent, my area fibre all good. No disruption, already raise a case in Maxis App....reviewing from yesterday until now, not sure need to wait how long...

Defitely a fiber cut somewhere, either just you or the whole area

It will take time to resolve cause Maxis technical will check first then only they escalate it to TM

ah i see, hopefully they can escalate it faster..... sweat.gif

Sharing my 2cents encountering the same issue:

Try call customer service and complain to them you are WFH and internet is crucial for work, ask them to send Maxpert with 4G dongle to plug into your RGW to at least provide some internet connectivity if their first visit can't solve your fiber cut

Also, do a visual inspection from your ONU (the small TM box) all the way to where TM's fiber enter your house and make sure the fiber is intact, not cut or bend too much or fold or chew by rats etc. Usually there is a small FTB connecting TM's fiber to your house's fiber if you live in a landed property.

My case, it took several weeks, 3 Maxis visits, 0 TM visit to resolve. The last Maxis visit found that my house's fiber connecting to TM's fiber, melted due to exposure to sunlight. At last, I have to replace that fiber.

Last week call for appointment, suppose visit on last Saturday around 4-6pm. But the technician came earlier like around 12pm, can't make it and reschedule on yesterday.

I did inform them as my wife indeed WFH and is very crucial, so they direct told me will make an appointment with Maxis and TM altogether.
Ytd Maxis came early ahead of half hour to check the issue, then TM come afterward. As my fiber optic cable is pre-installed and hacked into wall (for internal) so it should not be a problem unless got mites. TM came and check, said the fiber connection is weak and show putus putus wavelength. So he said will check whether is from internal or external fiber cable. If is internal then will charge RM50 for replacement, since mine is embed into the wall so no issue. And end up it is melted from external near the source there, so they replace it without any charges.

Kudos to them like it fixed within an hour time.
