Only go for other provider if u have postpaid bundle...for now Maxis still going strong with unlimited Prime bundle...the rest just gip 24 month bill rebate..kinda bad...from the start fibre should be open access like DNB or NLT in SG to be transparent...fibre company should manage the network...but, in village area...TM contractor is not busy...can choose any ISP u want bcoz over there not many people will subs to wifi..

Actually, wanna get Pakej Perpaduan from Unifi...but, lack of no WiFi 6 router & slow 10Mbps upload hold me back...i do watch some YouTube video...some user get capped at 28Mbps...

I see everyone post 30Mbps with free 3 month bill...symmetrical upload speed & new WiFi 6 router might be better than stuck with Aztech router for another 2 year...i know TM got SWU 3.0 offer...but, i think it better to switch bcoz i don't want another round of slow routing to certain game in holiday week...

5/7(5pm)= Go TM Point to do TR process...mention the TM staff that i want to "Transfer Request"...as always, TM staff counter offer me with 2 offer(SWU 3.0)...RM89,30mbps,free 3 month bill,free speed upgrade 100mbps(12 month) & RM119,100mbps,free 6 month bill,free speed upgrade to 300mbps(12 month)...i proceed with Maxis anyway...bcoz done with crappy routing & trash WiFi 5 router for 30mbps user...
7/7(12:55pm)= Get call from Maxis CS for installation date...but, im not pickup the call..recieve message from Whatsapp..INSTALL DATE: 11 July..
10/7(2:35pm)= Got Whatsapp from Maxis to confirm my installation...reply "YES" & give 👍 emote to confirm...

You might want to wait new price in September...CelcomDigi Fibre is just rebrand from Digi Fibre...no Public IP...Astro Fibre...im not sure...when i see the new TM or Maxis RAO in Soyacincau post...the internet speed is pretty much the same...just that the telco probably will announce much cheaper higher speed plan just to get to TM Global 9Tbps bandwidth...

Remember in 2018...Maxis is the first to introduce new 30Mbps & 100Mbps package...you just need to recontract...i hope they would release 300Mbps price RM89...let see..

If u are TM Unifi customer. They will provide Free Of Charge service if the cable break outside your house premise...this is important if you live in area that got lot of issue...etc pokok tumbang, beruk, birb...especially, in village area..

New Unifi price still expensive...in Maxis NGBB area...they sell RM89 for 100Mbps anyway...hope Maxis keep that RM89 price...doesn't matter it for 50Mbps or 100Mbps(HSBB area)...cannot expect much if you not own the infra...hopefully, they start to realise to expand their own network...maybe, that time we can see real price war..

Anyway, they start it to offer Rahmah package in rural & undeserved area..which still got slow take up rates...Maxis need to build their own network in city area...and, slowly expand their own coverage...faster ROI..

Look like this new price is release already...but, the so call price cut can be see on 100mbps,300mbps ,500mbps,800mbps package...the things i find it weird is 800mbps/RM249 per month already long ago offer by Astro Fibre...the only way for consumer to get price below RM89 in the market if MCMC lower port charge which still remain at RM45...if the next round MSAP they don't do it...don't expect to get fibre broadband price like our neighbour country...

Most likely this offer is just for new sign up & transfer customer...i don't know if Maxis will give free speed upgrade...bcoz Maxis tap in many infra...so, they need to take care all of the customer...doesn't matter if you in TM,TIME,Allo,NGBB,CTS,Sacofa...need time...

Later reduce ARPU. Maxis never got exclusive package(except Maxis NGBB) like TM SWU. They just keep giving rebate or free bill. But, no special package. Most likely, follow CelcomDigi to streamline their offering. If you out of contract. Maybe that time can transfer & wait CS to call to counter offer. Follow CD move...increase ARPU... Follow TM move...decrease ARPU..the reason why TM can do...HSBB is own by TM..

Moving to other place that is not within TM infra..especially Maxis NGBB..i remember someone post in YT...he get 750mbps for download speed with 300mbps plan in NGBB infra..the infra already everywhere in taman area include East Coast...just that it not worth it just for internet usage...if house over there is far from your workplace.. other tips, transfer back to Unifi...also, i see people use Astro Fibre in TM infra don't have speed cap issue much..i do believe it just Maxis being cheapskate to pay full bandwidth fee to TM...or Astro get special treatment for buying routing bandwidth from TM...after all, Astro Fibre is the only fibre ISP that depend routing 100% from TM..someone use Celcom Fibre in TM infra don't have speed cap issue..to this day it is still unknown why Maxis Fibre in TM infra get speed cap...if you subs 30mbps..when speedtest get 27~28mbps download speed...that 7% less speed...did math..imagine 2Gbps in TM infra..speed cap 7%..1,860mbps for download speed..who knows..

I think depend on TM OLT brand...My place get fibre infra in 2020..the DP box is black color & come with 10 port each...im on port number 9...it doesn't matter which port you use bcoz TM use different vendor for their fibre project..i think those people get uncapped speed probably use Huawei or Nokia OLT brand...there is no way TM can capped ISP riding on their infra via modem..if you want to know more...get your neighbor sign up Maxis Fibre & test drive..the result will be the same i guess..im first use TM Unifi 30mbps in 2021 & transfer to Maxis Fibre 30mbps in 2023...no free speed upgrade but im happy bcoz the line is much more stable in term mobile gaming...maybe bcoz Wifi 6 router..

28mbps..but, no effect for my gaming bcoz hardly use 1GB data everyday. Maxis is better for some game..when on unifi, i can feel lag at night...especially for school holiday..i think TM don't care to upgrade their line capacity i guess...actually i want to install Digi Fibre 50mbps..but WhatsApp reply they say port full..i go with unifi...mana tau agent say port is reserved in all TM DP box...maybe that why i cannot install with Digi...after around 2 year later, i check with TM agent that use Tracebite..port is now available to all DP box in my taman..that time Digi Fibre package name Internet Freedom or something...also, yea only me using Maxis Fibre...some neighbor in other lorong use Astro Fibre..the rest use TM unifi(probably they just rental house)...

Good for people that use Maxis Postpaid Unlimited(FUP 500GB). Pair RM79 postpaid + Maxis Fibre 300Mbps for just RM99. Question here after 24 month. Speed is reduce back to 100Mbps or price go back to RM139.

Maxis product generally better to pair with fibre plan. Bcoz their postpaid standalone Maxis Postpaid 199 plan only give 200GB for 4G/5G data. Most place still not cover with 5G. So, unlimited postpaid with 500GB FUP + Maxis Fibre 300Mbps is a steal. But, promo last day till tomorrow. 31 May.

As always, Maxis stingy when it come to 4G data. Their 4G network always have more bandwidth that not in use...

Maxis Fibre speed is the same across all infra. Maybe, well except certain TM area get hard cap. Upload speed is asymetrical. But, you will get close 60Mbps for speedtest. According to Maxis Q1 report. NGBB infra is available to 400k premise which just in 2023 they already install additional 181k premise. But, with the latest quaterly report announce. I think Maxis will cut cost to get ready for second 5G network. I think by 2030. Maxis will have more FTTH coverage than TIME in landed area..

Maxis NGBB is kinda weird. They just pull 1 big fibre cable & put DP box. You can easily notice it Maxis pole with big black & white name in each pole(even it not DP box pole). For me, get Maxis Fibre in TM infra is better. Bcoz Supersaver deal only last for 24 month. Maybe, you can recontract to get discount price. Under TM infra, we can easily Transfer Request & get much better deal. Either switch or get retention offer. Maxis NGBB don't have such thing bcoz no telco sign with Maxis to access NGBB network.

Actually, no. Current provider will not auto bill. They will call customer to pay remaining month bill penalty at Maxis Centre. If no payment receive. TR will auto reject. And, you will continue using Maxis as usual. Just like MNP. No payment receive for remaining balance. Auto reject port out. Just like what he say. Just switch to other provider. Get TR number. Wait Maxis call. If you don't pay penalty. TR will be reject within 7~10 days. If got 8 month left. Just do it. Penalty less than RM1k. But no payment receive. Maxis will just reject offer. Anyone wanna do it? Bcoz im also Maxis Fibre 30mbps user with 12 month left contract. Should have just wait in October 2023. Dunno Maxis will gip RM89 price for 100mbps. Despite only for 24 month. Meanwhile, retention offer will get permanent price cut RM10 with free bill. Idk, someone wanna do it. Bcoz i like to know too..

This will give Maxis advantage to keep customer.

EDIT: I just get agent tell me. If current provider did not call their existing customer to offer within 4 days. TM will auto approve TR. Looks like there is new change. In TM HSBA portal. TR is update since 28 June. But, no details that i can see. I edit here if yall brave enough to do it. Maybe wait little bit by 4~5 month. And, pay RM500 penalty is better. Or, Maxis will call to give candy.
