Maxis to Cloudflare routing is still broken, plenty of Cloudflare sites routed to US point of presence instead of MY or SG

Even 1.1.1.1 is routed through NTT to SG POP instead of MYIX POP

Any updates from Maxis on this?
I didn’t even notice because I’m always on a VPN (peers via SG Equinix so I wasn’t affected), but today I switched one device to Warp Plus and noticed it was really bad. My traceroutes show the same results as yours.

Nope, not fixed yet and it's ridiculous.

How can they even mess up peering with one of the world's biggest network is baffling.

I guess all good Malaysian ISPs are suffering from enshittification, first it's TIME, now Maxis. I shall try Viewqwest next.

Good news, Maxis' routing to Cloudflare seems to be fixed now

Cloudflare is back in their peering list

Maxis is my favorite ISP in Malaysia once again biggrin.gif

May i know if maxis router tplink ex820v has good coverage for double storey house? Anyone got this router can share your experience?
*
It will not be fast, just usable coverage

Buy your own router / mesh if you prefer something faster

How's Maxis Fibre by the way? Our internet still isn't fixed and we're debating switching. Dealing with Unifi Support is a bit of PITA.

Yes I do know it'll use the same infrastructure (only HSBB here). We're looking at the 1 Gbps plan.

Part of me is looking forward to not experience the customary congestion on Unifi at certain hours of the day.
*
If you have infra issues at your area, e.g. frequent fiber cut and etc

I will suggest you to stick with Unifi unless Maxis deploy their own infra at your area

If Maxis is riding on TM's infra, it takes a lot of back and forth to get infra issue resolved and usually TM will take their own sweet time to fix it when it's not their own customer
