Bought the Gigabyte Aorus 15 from BrightStar at Low Yat Plaza a few months ago.

I'm a software engineering student who also plays AAA game titles, bought the unit at RM 6899 - their website is at https://www.gigabyte.com/my/Laptop#AORUS

Here's the package and the notebook itself.

I did look at models like Asus' ROG Strix Hero III (I know many people recommended it and bought it), and the new ROGZephyrus S GX502 (this one has attracted me, but to what I know the RAM is soldered to the board), MSI GS series (2060 is too expensive RM9999), Lenovo Legion (appearance doesn't attract me), Acer's Predator Triton 500 (difficult to upgrade memory and SSD).

In the end went with this model of Aorus 15 with the following specs
- Intel Core i7-9750H
- Samsung DDR4 16GB 2666MHz
- Nvidia RTX2060
- 15.6 IPS 144Hz refresh
- Intel SSD 760P M.2 512GB.

The official website says 512GB SSD but mine has an additional 2TB HDD.

More details on why did I choose this notebook
1. It has Intel Core i7-9750H processor
2. Has RTX 2060 graphics card for my gaming needs
3. Reasonable weight, 2.4Kg - not the lightest but that's what I can live with for my gaming and work needs.
4. Knowing that it has Samsung RAM.
5. It has Intel 760P 512GB SSD and additional 2TB HDD which is a Seagate Barracuda model.

User Experience
As mentioned I game on this notebook, won't bore you guys with my work stuff so gaming it is because it stresses the system the most.

Gaming can push the temperatures really high but good thing the Aorus 15 comes with 6 heat-exhaust pipes to keep the system under control. Fan can be noisy when maxing it out but good thing I game on headphone so it's not an issue.

The power connector is at the back of the notebook is a plug as it doesn't get into the way of my other connections. There are 3 USB 3.1 ports and HDMI port, with even mini DP.

Additional stuff I bought (off-topic) - Xbox Controller, a Mouse (RM135) and a backpack when I bought it at BrightStar.

Razer Mamba Wireless ftw! But regretting it ......... a bit because there's the newer Razer Viper Wireless.
