Not broker sell you. Is under your broker search for Odd Lot. That is always available but the charges is totally different. And not always deal, only when there's people willing to match your deal.

Seems a bit like winning the lottery then.

Yea 1 day can drop 2% smile.gif Actually the last time we traded this.. it was not bad, quite diversified. The loss was mainly forex loss, group actually made a profit IIRC. Don't know now how they are doing smile.gif

Set aside the forex loss,
realised (operation) EPS number is poor to start with.

Still.. a profit was a profit. Also quite defensive given the global nature and established names. Also they had just acquired all the hotels when we were in. So at that time we were thinking "good names + global diversification + good management = good profits".

Didn't expect them to not hedge lol smile.gif

minimum quantity purchase is 100 units regardless of price.

it can be RM34 x 100unit or RM0.10 x 100 unit.

minimum purchase by unit not price.  biggrin.gif

*sifu correct me if i'm wrong*
*
Apparently you can buy one unit (theoretically, if anyone wants to sell one unit.) I think in practice, no one will sell one unit so you probably can't smile.gif

sorry, i mean what is the viable or feasible quantity to purchase due to fees incurs? can be advise in unit or rm figure. tq
*
Depends on brokerage.. look at the min brokerage and the commission % and then calculate it yourself smile.gif

Lowest is about Rm8K (if brokerage is 0.1%) I think.

my advise to ppl is if they have small fund (less than 2000 in total), better buy unit trust.
*
Depends.. People forget there are management fees in unit trusts. This alone makes it more expensive than if you were to buy shares directly.

just notice that this is reit thread  tongue.gif  agree with you that the management fees cost some pains, especially long term. However, I saw some ppl invest RM500 in shares (each transaction) where the broker fees alone can kill the profit.
*
People are weird like that. Some people just want to gamble I guess. More convenient than Genting lol? smile.gif

Private sale? also 6% isn't exactly a suicide drop, AMFIRST dropped 14% in two weeks last year.

No point in getting 10lots or 500shares as i wouldn't be able to cover my brokerage expenses.

Got to shoot for at least 10k lots to see a decent recent lol
*
You will be lucky to be able to trade 10,000 shares on some days, let alone 10,000 lots 😃

Why did you sell it off if you wanted to reenter? 😊 could have saved the brokerage and left it there 😊

Qcap. bought 2010 at RM1.00
added every year price range 1.08 to 1.04.
last added was in 21 FEB 2014.
Sold all about 1.20. coz thinking Reits prices will go lower and also,
i wanted cash out to buy SG REITS

Total about 15,000 units

Now Since Pink S mentioned I take a look. considering buy back since got some funds...

Overall still profit coz i will be buying lower than 1.20...
Brokerage with MPLUS.. o.k la..
small profit but SLOWLY but SURELY....
*

Thanks.. the power of DCA. What made you think that prices would go lower?
