Triple lease is both a boon and bane.. it means the price is more or less fixed .. means cannot raise big big rental  tongue.gif

But then also, cannot lower rental, so a safety net.. hmm.gif

So it cancels out each other..  whistling.gif

I have the nasty habit to LOOK 4 LOOK 4 after reading...

PAVREIT wor ... contra wor ... weekend meal wo...

Buy shares also need thousand(s) lor...
to make the trading any meaningful....
My twisted and perhaps faulty logic tells me that such trading means betting thousand (s) to make money to earn Corny Dog meal wor...

Errr ...... hmm.gif hmm.gif

Oh ok let's see if I got it right :

Let's say take the latest DIV payout for PAVREIT which is = 8.3 sen (4.14+4.16)

So if I buy PAVREIT at 1.74 which give me gross yield of 4.7%.

--> If the price increase , i sell my holding which can get back 100++ depends on how much the share price appreciate
--> If the price decrease , i hold PAVREIT can become long term REIT investor which can consider as a fixed income instrument. Or else, if the price drop lower, it gives me more chance to accumulate more unit (due to the yield getting higher)

hmm.gif
*
Hehe.... I would think you are correct....

However... you know I very much don't agree with 'price drop lower, accumulate more'... LOL! ....it's just me la.....

oops... I better stop here la.
me no REITS investor/player/trader etc etc etc......

btw...

IF.....

if one was so lucky to get that 200 shares at 175 (trade #25) ...
one needs to sell the very next 3 trades (trade#26, 27 and 28) in order to sell at 1.77 .....

not possible to  report here when earn only RM4, more like she profited RM400 or so.

must trade bigger volumes of course, definitely not from only 200 shares, or you mean 200lots?

PS:infact i have been following her posts here, i managed to earn few hundred bucks trading sunreit earlier.
yeah i agree with u is spending a lot to get just a little, still i find worth it.

edited:
perhaps she got some existing shares, sell first buy back later boleh?

To be blunt I don't totally trust what I read in forums - especially stock forums.

That's Pavreit intraday trades for yesterday.

Tell me how and where one could have traded for a profit?

(* this is even incredible since we are using a PAST data to find a winning trade *)

i dont quite get how you conclude that she must be doing only that trade 25
and not any other transactions in the day.

how about this?
with existing shares in hand,
early morning key in sell at RM1.77 , same time key in buy at RM1.75
so the sell at RM1.77 done  first and then later on buy back cheaper.

but 2 sens is really too little to profit....
*
Err....

OK if you want to use the possibility of sell and then buy back, of course it is a possibility.

Dude... I will leave it as it is la....
I don't feel comfortable continuing on this REITS thread la....
And I don't want to take up more space on this thread...

If I am wrong... I am wrong.
So be it. smile.gif

All I will bluntly advice is not to simply trust what you read - esp when you read a forumer constantly boasting of weekend meals made from trading..

Ok?

Sold sunreit on 31/10 at 1.84. Bought back on 1/11 at 1.75.
Sold today for another good weekend meals at 1.81. Waiting to sell higher/ buy lower.

Those who are skeptical, do 'study' on Sunreit historical price.
I like to trade on Reits only as it's a 'safer' stocks.
I'm happy if price drops after I bought as I can buy more and collect dividends (which is better than FD) while waiting for it to 'recover'.

I'll start to collect Pavreit as it's getting cheaper!

You posted on the 3rd and the natural assumption is you are referring to your contra gain made on the 3rd.

Which I have highlighted the almost impossibility of getting a contra trade done for that day and even if luck favors, we are talking about a miserable 200 lots or a 4 bucks gain (not counting brokerage and stamp fees) !

This is a stock forum and many forums exists where forumers boast about trades, which most of the time looks and sounds incredible.

It's only natural.

All it takes is one boastful nickname on a forum to attract some jerk who simple loves to be an inquisitive jerk.

Yup, only natural.

This is a natural cliche in stock forums.

After my postings, you changed your tune...

Wah... a challenge to 'study' Sunreit past traded prices....
OK. no problem.
Just had some cendol just now...
now I am full.....

Hmmm..... oooh yeah...

Your data is CORRECT!

SPOT ON!

On 31/10: Sunreit did trade at 1.84.
On 1/11: Sunreit also did trade at 1.75

And today, at 3:29pm or earlier, Sunreit did trade at 1.81.

Yap.

So what's wrong?

Consider the amazing coincidence...

31/10: Sunreit highest traded price was 1.84. - You claim you sold
1/11: Sunreit lowest was 1.75. - You claim you buy
Today: Sunreit highest at the time of the posting was 1.81. - You claim you sold.

LOL!

Three random trades and you are able to get those trades on the HIGHEST and LOWEST price of the day?

Boy oh ah boi.....

You are either super duper geng chow REITS trader or ......................................

Yeah.... so I am a jerk.

I also managed to get Pavreit at today lowest price 1.70. Will buy more if it drops tomorrow. Will sell if it's up.

Wahahahahahahahaha ! LOL! LOL!

Good for you.

Geng!

Sky Earth also no match like this!

I believe very much that I shall rest my beloved fingers.

It is simply too taxing and too tiring to be a jerk.
