I am torn between Mreits and Sreits T.T

Mreits so far seems overly-valued with only YTL and another 1 or 2 more offering a good div. yield.

Any recommendations for Mreits or Sreits?
*
for long term, Sreits...

PM u the sreit chart later. can't post here cause it's Mreits LOL. dowan to hijack.

sorry.. newbie here.. wanna ask how to buy the Sreits?

QUOTE(Ramjade @ Apr 25 2017, 10:28 AM)
You have 2 ways
(i) buy using malaysian broker and suffer higher charges
(ii) buy using sg based broker which is cheaper in the long run.
*
either i or ii is feasible. similar with buying mreit. just different country (and regulations).

Found it, Sunway velocity in this moment won't be injected. Jeffrey cheah had said velocity still making loss. Furthermore. If injected to reits will kena tax
*
yea usually a property will only be injected into a reit if it's mature or near there. velocity is kinda new so bringing it into the sunreit will just drag the stats down. maybe i'm wrong. cool2.gif

Are these REIT going a downtrend? If yes, check if their earning is good or not.

For me I sold all few months back when REIT was abit unstable. Now I don't go for Office Reits. For me lah.

I just going for YTLReits and other shopping Mall Reits (Like PAV and IGB).

Correct me if i bought wrongly guys. Don't flame me.
*
ah don't la say bought wrongly. every individual buy based on their own findings and preference/risk appetite. laugh.gif

Yes, you are right, bro,..... thumbsup.gif

Hmm,... looks like Office and Retail REITs in Msia and SG are 'struggling',... for myself, I don't have any Office and Retail REITs in Msia, but in SG, I have only Frasers Centrepoint Trust as my Retail REIT holding....

Don't know why,....I've always thought of the Office and Retail properties in SG as being 'difficult',....
*
hmmm when i think about what u say... just realised i don't have any office and detail reit in both my M & S reit either. laugh.gif

i believe somebody have done their homework and answer my question here. hahaha. my target is 100k get back 7k / year is consider good investment for me.
*
so you're looking for a 7% per annum?

Sorry but, Mreit to reach 7% is rather difficult but not impossible.

well, KLCCP is stronger of course, but .....
doesn't fit my risk appetite.

but yeah, the rest is already too high anyway. Have to wait until BNM raises interest rates.
*
BNM raising interest rates sometimes doesnt result in price going down because at times, the market already predicted this and factor it into the price.
