hi sifu sifu there i am new to bodybuilding, i would like to buy dumbbell. i have looked at hypermarket like giant/tesco and even internet, i have found a pair of chrome dumbbell cost RM 170 from lelong

Material: Chrome with non-slip rubber grip
Colour: Silver
Weight: 15kg or 20kg
Detachable 0.5kg, 1.25kg, and 2.5kg weights (total weight includes spinlock collars and bar)
Includes durable case with slots for storage and easy-carrying

4x 0.5kg weights
4x 1.25kg weights
4x 2.5kg weights
4x spinlock collars
2x 14” bar

is RM 170 worth for this pair of dumbbell? I'd prefer chrome whole lot compared to black iron due to looks and not so prone to rust

All this is 100% useless unless you just want to build biceps and triceps.

Dumbbells are highly ineffective for weight loss.

Cardio and Diet is key to weight loss.

This weight enough for biceps triceps and maybe shoulder press only. But good enough for beginner lar. Juat do regular pushup and pull ups for back and chest. Won't get super big, but good enough to be fit.
