Yeah was wondering what's a good price to buy. Thanks for the tip.

Went there to change my book and just asked the guy to check for me. He checked AS1M and tell me no available units then asked me to take a seat while he change my book. After that he just tell me no units available too for ASM. I have a feeling he didn't check ASM sad.gif

based on your risk appetite.... if u are salary man having stable income and stable work, best look for UT, that from my point of view. Because most of the working man don't have time to watch market like they do in trading and forex. UT also find those looking good and working good. my friend once bought some UT which performed well overall but negative yield during 07 08 crisis. can't recovered back. Best is for looking for healthy yield.

But as the old rule still apply. Must have saving at least x6 of your current salary BEFORE going any further investment.
*
OK. Thanks for the advice. Managed to get 5k ASM just now. But still nothing for as1m. So if working man like me don't have time to monitor market, best choice is amanah saham then UT? My risk appetite is low to moderate. Saving just hit 6x of salary

True... even asg hit by the current market, but their find performance still outstand the benchmark.
How good if my parent put into asg instead of the fd for the past 10 year. 3% pa or even 2.5 pa during 0708 is so low...
*
Have you ventured into fsm? Or just asx?

No la. So far given the same risk rating, asx still perform better than any fund, even the fsm recommended. That also I go briefly this morning, if got other perform better I don't know la. Because some for the funds give - yield.... So far for variable fund under asnb they give positive yield performed Bette rthan the benchmark...

Was hoping for ASG to drop below 1 during the Greek financial crisis but it never happen. cry.gif

BTW, public mutual is not on fsm right? Can't seem to find it

follow ASNB rules cannot do that..

but it's depend on branch staff.. some might allow it  icon_rolleyes.gif

You can actually ask someone to buy on ur behalf. Have to get the authorization form from the bank, sign it and ask the person who buy on ur behalf to pass it to the bank staff. Confirmed by my own experience. Hehe

Does the authorize form have any validity period?
*
What I do is fill and sign everything and leave only the date section blank. When the person is going to purchase then he'll put the date for me

Ya ya. That's the form. You can try to use 1 form to buy more than 1 fund and report back coz I never bought 2 funds at the same time. Limited bullets cry.gif
