ASNB is great investment, I am non bumi and the only eligible product of ASNB are AS1M and AS Gemilang. I managed to invest AS1M, with dividens payout of 6.5% yearly, almost guarantee.

Tried AS Gemilang but there is a 6% GST tax, don't think the ROI is that great. Anyhow, not so sure about the mechanism of return, anyone would like to shed some light on this?
*
A non bumi can buy fixed price Funds (ASW, ASM n AS1M) plus variable price Funds (ASN3 n ASG)
For variable price Funds, the returns equal to changes in Nav (i.e. capital appreciation plus dividend income)

Thank for your reply. I am still not so sure on how variable funds work and the 6% GST they charged for every units IN.

Any guides I shall refer to for a better understanding?

Nope. 6% is 6% of 5% of what you put in. So say if you punt in say RM1000 and unti price say is RM1/unit, you are getting tax on RM50 (5%)+ RM3(6% out of RM50). If I am not wrong

U r correct

So let say i transfer RM100 to my asb, does it cost me RM6 for GST?
so how much the fees?
First time I want to try
*
Example:-
U transfer RM100 from CASA to ASB
M2u charge RM1 (assume) for service charges
RM1 is subject to 6% GST = RM0.06
M2u will debit RM101.06 from yo CASA
