QUOTE(unknown warrior @ Apr 29 2015, 02:19 PM)
I was like that most of the time. I don't talk much in a group, always observant of other people, noticing even if a pin drop. Until I grew out of it.

It was a phase for me.  Nah don't worry, I'm sure she'll grow out it as well as she gets older, even not worrying about it at all.

Not all introverts are like that, UW.

I am 30 this year, and I am an introvert.

And no, it is not a pahse that you have to go through.

Being an introvert is a personality trait, similar to extroverts.

Here's something we introverts want you guys to know:

QUOTE(unknown warrior @ Apr 29 2015, 02:34 PM)
Time changes people, DL.

Trust me. Time also heal all wounds and broken hearts.

Even the most painful one, God can surgically heal it.

Just takes time.

In the mean time, need to learn to enjoy life. Else will regret when we pass on.
*
...are you still viewing introverts as a personality disorder?

Both extroverted and introverted people are equally wounded with their hearts broken in the world.

Being an introvert is not the reason behind suffering.

1. no
2. nah i just added that in, (not exclusive to introverts only, you're right of course), just in case if anyone is going through that.

Good. I understand that you are sharing your personal experiences for being quiet in group conversations, but I am here to tell you that you have absolutely NO REASON to feel bad about it. It is only NORMAL.

And what I've done so far here is to merely point out that there are many introverts in the world who have reacted the same way as Sophiera, but it is not because we are selfish.

It is because introverts function differently.

I know

But I'm telling you, you can get out of it as well over time, to be less of an introvert.

It's a trait that can be changed IMO over time.

Only by personal choice, and if it means something personally for that person.

Other than that, there's absolutely no reason to feel marginalize for being an introvert, in any situation.

QUOTE(Sophiera @ Apr 29 2015, 04:38 PM)
I don't know why.
I guess it's creepy for me? But I don't know. It makes me feel really uncomfortable without a clear reason as to why. Maybe there's something wrong with me.
*
Something wrong?

I strongly disagree. As I've mentioned to UW earlier, this is but a natural response from fellow introverts.

QUOTE(unknown warrior @ Apr 29 2015, 07:56 PM)
The apostle Peter was a fisherman, and yet the HS changed him to be a very outspoken evangelist later in life.

Moses admitted he was not good with speech and yet later on in life He was a fiery outspoken Man of God.

What do you think I'm trying to say?
*
I am saying that possibilities and free will go hand in hand.

It is possible that I can do many things, but it should be me making the choice to do it, not how I should be pressured in order to do it.

I want to apologize if I keep dropping off the scene for extended periods of time.

I do come in to read and post on and off but when I begin do that too often, wifey begins to complain so I have to back off. blush.gif

Keeping the peace is important.

Saint Walker (Blue Lantern) Origins.

I know this may have nothing to do with Christianity, it provides a good story about faith, about hope.
