Well, I'm not too hot about being out at that time in Ramadhan, what with terawih and all. But since I'm one of those who might or might not come (plus I would be the, uh... fourth guitarist), I guess I don't have much of a say in that.

Akarkarya is in Damansara Utama...near the Uptown McD. Same row as the Telekom shop.

just some suggestion. have 'organised' 'public jam session for a few times for different groups - and i feel that songs that ppl should play in any 'public' jam sessions like this are those common rock one:

metallica top 40s -
seek n destroy
creeping death
fade to black
bell tolls
enter sandman
the unforgiven
etc
etc

gnr top 40s -
sweet child
heaven's door
u cud be mine
dont cry
etc
etc

guitar gods favs -
rockin free world
little wing
smoke on the water

and maybe all those other songs that 'everybody' knows like ngeraku, rasa sayang, tipah tertipu, etc etc

but ditch all those emo shit songs...haha...not fun to play if u have shitty vocalists...

tips - make sure u have at least 2 good drummer that knows all the proposed songs...bassist can always change...ppl play guitar can normally play decent bass..

common problem - to start the whole jam is normally a bit susah coz e'body will be a bit malu2 shy2 pig, so better have one of you 'outspoken' ones here to break the ice (sadly, those outspoken ones in internet forums are always the quiet ones in real life - hiope it is not the case here)

anyways...just my .02 sen

just did an op-ne jam with the guys in i-bands a week plus ago in this spacious but good studio im apmpang point (syah studio, above coffee bean)...about 10+ attendees...great guys...some very good guitar players too...had fun from 11pm to 1.30m...then all had mamak session until 3am in the morning - we call this - 'pre-sahur jam session'...haha

rok n roll kids! have fun!
