TENTATIVE:
No freakin' Idea

It'll be a Maximum of 16 people (including me).... and I'll divide the openings into 2 groups..... 8 for "Veterans" and another 8 for Beginners (I hate using the word Noob)

You qualify as a "Veteran" if you have attended 3 previous jams or have been actively contributing (ie. Good Forum Presence, help people in need and generally a well conducted poster.... a higher post count does NOT take in consideration. Being more helpful and a good contributor is) and posting in the forum for at least a full year. Also, will be able to contribute to the current and future jams as well.
This is NOT an official LYN status, and merely for use in the purpose of Jams. The status of a "veteran" can be opened for discussion on the Guitar Club thread and can will be determined by our community.

If you're not a "Veteran", then you'll classify as a beginner.

On the week before the jam, if there are still spots open, anyone can join, regardless if you're a "Veteran" or beginner.

I'm making this rule, because I see some "Veterans" who really wanted to join, but couldn't because of the filled up spots, and this is kind of a way to repay our LYN veterans. Again..... beginners, please don't spam and think that increasing your post count counts you as a "Veteran". And once more, this is NOT an official LYN status.... it's just for the purpose of the Jams.

Once again, every member that attends will have to share the cost of renting the studio.

Anything else, just make more comments.

From Party2DMax:

For the previous and future video clips, I'll be using common storage place online. After doing a bit of research, I've decided on a Gmail acct and a tool that hacks into the acct to make it seem like an extra HDD on your PC.

The software is 100% safe. You may d/l from here (147kb):

The Gmail acct details is as follows:
Username: lynmusician
Password: lowyat

if we're gonna do own gig then might as well we make some profit from em.not from our own party.but from other LYNers? i can do publicities! till then we can get some money to fund our own food and hall and have fun? more like s small rock concert? all of us will have a chance to play.how about that?

We're there to PLAY.... not to gig... Gigging takes alot of practise sessions, coordination and have to get to know everybody first.

And about the community hall or whatever, I CAN bring my amp...... but not sure who else can as well..... Don't need ALL to bring their amps...... Maybe get an extra 4 or 5 amps.

So if its at a community hall ..... who on earth is going to bring the drum set ?

Or you guys are planning not to have drums, but with bass and guitar only ?

I know what it takes to gig.Practises, coordinations, sound setup, patience, relatinships with members.Heck i've fought with my drummer cause of this. But we can launch this as a long term project?Lets say if i can find some sponsors and make this more to a competition, how about that?
